We had our appointment booked for each of us to get a 1 hour massage and decided to go for it. We were greeted on time and with a pleasant welcome. I was assigned to Nicole while my wife got Heidi. Both were friendly and interested in what we each wanted. I decided to try Shiatsu for the first time and was very happy I did. Nicole put me in a state of bliss and had me feeling great in no time. She knows her stuff and was very attentive the entire time. The room I had was clean, well kept, and included soothing music to put me in the right state of mind. Before I knew it an hour had passed but I could have gone for another hour easily. I was almost sleep walking back to the front desk to meet my wife who had just wrapped up. Our rates were reasonable and we were happy to give a nice tip. Thank you ladies! If we are in town again we will definitely be back! So glad we found you and kept the appointment.

It is definitely different than getting a table massage, where you just lay there for a specified amount of time. This type of massage is very active and I have experienced little "face down" work. I highly recommend Kari. Not only is she amazing, she has some of the best prices for Thai massage that I have found in Portland. She is also super sweet and has really good music playing instead of the requisite raindrops/waterfall/lullaby music playing at spas!

Kelly is very professional, and got into the profession to help people. Excellent deep tissue which I need. Every visit I walk out in much less pain than I walk in. I have c6 & 7 degeneration, & I've always had long-standing back &neck issues. My right arm has become very painful, tingly & goes numb. I've had x-rays, my doctor has advised me that the best therapy is massage, doc has seen muscle relief from my nerves. Kelly has also educated me on anatomy & which muscles are very tight & normally shouldn't be. Kelly knows massage so well that it is obvious he excelled in becoming a professional LMT. Before moving to this are I hadn't had a massage in a couple years & didn't get massage therapy regularly. Kelly mad me feel safe, comfortable, & confident that you are in the best therapeutic care possible. Bonus, his prices are lower than most massage therapists. I usually have him focus on my neck, shoulders, & thoracic/ cervical areas of my back as that is where most of my pain stems from. Kelly explains the massage process beforehand, answers all your questions & asks you to only underdress to your comfort zone. Kelly uses the sheets to cover areas of your body that are not being worked on at the time. This is a professional who will take the best care as well as comfort. Kelly became an LMT to help heal people. He sure has helped me immensely. I highly recommend Kelly Van Dyke.
