WOW. Exceptional service! After several really bad and very expensive experiences with other movers I was extremely nervous about hiring help out of state. So I arranged help from a local non-profit organization which was recommended to me. Due to a conflict they had to cancel the evening prior to my scheduled unload...gulp. After exhausting every other resource I had the morning of the unload, I contacted Heartland. Not only did Heartland listen to my predicament with sincerity and compassion, they went the extra mile even though their crews were booked to see if they could accommodate helping me the very same day I called! Heartland called me back as promised - then the crew called me to update me on their status, showed up when promised, and took the time to discuss the unload prior to beginning so that everything was organized as I wanted it to be. I appreciate the level of professionalism Cody and Joseph provided, the hard yet efficient work, organization and careful considerate job they did. ABSOLUTELY LOVE HEARTLAND MOVING! I have never been more disappointed in a company than I am with this one. There estimate was a joke. After getting my estimate I decided against moving a my washer and a dryer and one bedroom of furniture and a oak roll top desk. Even after not moving all of those items my total was almost two thousand dollars more than my estimate. I had to call them to track down my property since no one there bothered to call with my weight total or an arrival date as I was promised they would. Then after I received my property I had over eighteen dollars worth of damage to my property and was missing some of my property. they are unwilling to cover any of the damage since my property weighted more upon arrival than it did when it was picked up. I find this humorous since I received less property than I shipped. If you want to see this company's true reviews also look them up under their other name Stevens Worldwide Van Line.
