I called and was able to get an appointment the same day! I needed to get brake pads replaced on…read moreall 4 wheels, rotors replaced on the back wheels, and I also needed a small brake line replaced on one back wheel. All the parts were already there except the brake line, which they obviously didn't know needed replacing until they got underneath of it. I just dropped it off after lunch and came back near closing time to pick it up when it was completed. When I dropped it off I did ask them to change the oil, which I was unaware they done until I got there and seen the signs. I already had all the oil in my SUV to do it with, but just didn't have the oil filter with me. I also asked them if they could replace the shocks since all the wheels were already going to be off. The mechanic told me that he could get it all done. I already had an estimate on the brakes and rotors before I got there. Obviously I didn't expect an estimate on the spot for the shocks or the oil change with the oil provided. I came back to pick it up and paid the bill, which was around the estimate they gave me. So I knew they didn't do the shocks obviously. I figured they at least done the oil change, but nope they didn't. My oil was still in the back of my SUV. I was very disappointed that it wasn't changed because it had been there several hours. The guys that ran the shop were very nice and the place was organized for a shop. I was thankful to get it in the same day too. Cons: 1. Not everything was done as I mentioned. 2. My ABS and brake dash lights were still on even after ALL of them were replaced. Disappointed they didn't take the time to reset these lights. They are a real pain in the butt on especially if I want to sell the SUV at some point!

Automotion - Wire Harness after damage

I ended up getting my friends car fixed and canceled automation. Bit Paul was very professional…read morewhen I called to let him know I was cancelling. And another thing Ii learned is that he is well respected by clients including car dealers. Both clients from both recommended Automation to me

I do a lot of my own work on cars and bought my car from Carvana and had it pre-inspected by Ford,…read morewhich gave me a list of repairs to complete through my SilverRock warranty. I scheduled an appointment with Automotion (SilverRock approved) and went over everything Ford had flagged. Automotion replaced the radiator hose and tie rod ends and completed a radiator flush, for which I paid $300. They did not replace the RF CV axle. Nick told me SilverRock only allows them to invoice so much at a time, and to bring the car back the following week so they could look at it. I never made it back that next week. Before then, I noticed the cover over my engine was missing, and then I found that my wiring harness had been cut and a new plug soldered on. When I brought it up to Nick and Jared, they asked me what I meant and I told them I had pictures before and after service of what the engine looked like. That's when Nick admitted they had ripped the plug off while removing the airbox but they wouldn't do anything for it because it was fixed. I told them it was not fixed, the car did not come in with a missing plug and cut off wire and I never approved them to fix the wire. I told them the harness needed to be replaced to restore it to factory - Nick agreed to look for a new harness and get back to me. I never heard from them again. I had to contact SilverRock myself and explain what happened, and they approved me taking the car back to Ford to have the harness and cv axle replaced that should have been on Automotion. Now I will need to pay a deductible for Automotion's mistake. A little communication and transparency would have gone a long way. A shop should stand behind its work, and when something goes wrong, it should be willing to make it right by the customer. As far as I'm concerned, they belong in the shade-tree-mechanic category. I will not be returning, and I won't recommend them at all to anyone in the Topeka area.
