Specifically came here today to purchase some warm gloves I had saw earlier in the year. Was buying them for someone special today and then thought, I need a pair! Next thing I know, I walked out with two pairs. You can't leave this store without buying something. The first time I came through, I bought a coffee mug. Still to this day, I use it at work. Great store in Crestline! Super nice couple own and run this business. Cool local finds-art, decor, best smelling candles, gifts, blankets, tees and weavings. One of my favorite places on the mountain. Local handmade baskets, photos, art, greeting cards, lotions, packaged gourmet food and make your own gift baskets. Such a cute shop tucked away in this area. We stopped in after getting lattes at Higher Grounds. I haven't spent much time in Crestline, but it is a nice stop on the way up to Lake Arrowhead. The boutique is really cool and has beautiful, well-picked items that are sure to make great useful souvenirs to remind you of the mountains. I picked up a bath bomb, handmade candle, little notepad, and children's book. Michelle and her little guy Asher were very sweet. We hope to stop in again sometime! read more

The store smells so good from the moment you walk in, and there is always a friendly face to let you know what is new, has been restocked, or what's most frequently purchased. A few of my personal top picks are all of the candles (Piñon and Midnight Oil are my favorites ), all of the T-Shirts (the fabric is so soft and breathable), the "Crestline" sweater (it's my new favorite thing to wear), ALL of the Enzo infused oils and vinegars, the spiced peach tea with local honey, and last but not least the Upstate Stock gloves with deerskin. Wow! The new shop on the block has really set a high bar of classiness to Top Town! They did a complete remodel on the inside and it's stunning! Michelle has curated a wonderful collection of delectables to enjoy and she even offers gift baskets and wrapping! I bought my sister a wonder collection of organic olive oil & balsamic vinegar, Hepp's Salts, and a handcrafted slate serving board for her birthday. She loves it! They also carry locally (California) made products such as beautiful blankets and handcrafted backpacks and bags. So many wonderful, QUALITY gift ideas. Hearth & Sage is an awesome new shop in the "Top Town" area of Crestline with fun food items (beer bread mix), entertaining items (log cabin kit), clothing, and items for the home. It is almost like it was picked up out of an ultra chic shopping district in the city and dropped onto the mountain, but then you notice the obvious mountain flair (like the log cabin or the Happy Camper shirts). I loved visiting Hearth + Sage. I met Daley, one of the owners, and we talked for a good 20 minutes about living on the mountain and our careers while he showed me the goods in their store. It's obvious that he and his wife, Michelle, are proud of the shop, and it shows! What I appreciated is that each of the products, from soap to games, was curated with quality in mind. Believe me, that's not common among the mountain stores where you will usually find collections of junk that aren't worth buying. That's not the case at Hearth + Sage. I will visit here often. read more

My husband I have not spent much time up in TopTown for some time, wow were we missing out. Hearth & Sage is a beautiful store that smells heavenly as soon as you walk in. I could have easily walked out with an armload of beautiful items that I have not seen anywhere else. In addition to their candles (which is the amazing smell when you walk in) they have cute decor items, everyday use items, cards and unique gifts. I purchased a card and some stickers. Not just any stickers, I had seen them shared on a local Facebook page. They are unique travel stickers that say Crestline, California, Lake Gregory etc. Everyone is putting them on water bottles and such as travel memories (including my daughter who I bought them for). They are designed by the wife of the husband/wife shopkeepers. I will definitely be back!! read more
