Pictures revealed cracks in the flue so I would not be able to use it. I decided to have Alan and Diane install a Bucks wood stove. They got it installed quickly. This past year I decided to stain the brick on the fireplace and they came out and took off pieces that were covering the brick and the hearth so that I could stain all of the brick and paint all of the tile on the hearth. I had an issue with the surround and they replaced it. Every time I have needed a question answered or had any concern, Diane and Alan have taken care of it. I love the Buck stove, it didn't break my budget to get it and it has helped keep the heating bill to a reasonable amount. Diane and Alan are wonderful!! Thank you, you are A+!

Once she comes in she tries To convince us to redo the bathroom, the basement, the outside of the house and more. My wife and I just got married and just bought our house, we don't know much about home repair. After she tried to get us to pay her $50,000 for extra stuff we didn't need, we decided just to get done with we actually needed. We give Monica $15,000 early on in the project and then barely see her for 2 months, but she claims she was coming to work on the house. I work from 7am-noon then 2pm-8pm and my wife is home around 4pm everyday and we NEVER saw her or her workers working. She claims she found mold, but she never sent it in to get it test by a mold specialist then sprayed mold inhibitor and got more money out of us. Also, anytime we ask about the project just got snappy with rude when we would ask about our HOME!! She would talk down to us as well. In August we have her a key to our house, once we new we were going to cut ties with her, I asked for the key back she gave us the wrong one and said the key never worked. After two months of coming to our house to work she never told us the key didn't work. She also refuse to wait for my wife to get off work and do a walk through of the project. We called the cops on her bc she was very aggressive towards us and still had the key to our house. When the cops had to come by and bring all the keys from here to show us she didn't have it, she brought a hand full of keys un mark and not on key chains. Even the cop make a comment about it and it not being professional. Also, her scope of work was bad!! She had her sons/family "gut" our basement but left carpet on the floor, tacks in the floors, Rotted studs in the wall, and dust and drywall everywhere. They destroyed the drywall in the bedroom where we had to fix it. She would complain bc was ask for two doors in the bathroom and she blow up and said it can't be done, but I had my dad look at it, he said no problem for two doors. Monica is not good and what she does! She did this to another young couple in Chicago and i have their story as well. It's just like ours. Monica preys on young couple or people who don't know much about home repair. She acts super friendly in the beginning but once someThing isn't exactly what she wants she is very rude fast. She didn't like when I ask for representation for this matter since I didn't know much about it, she was made bc that when we decide not to pay her $50,000. I contact the BBB and the Attorney general about our situation and they reached out to her. Monica sent something back to the attorney general say we were rude to her and not nice. Her had writing the sentence structure was very difficult to understand in her response. Again, showing her unprofessionalism.
