I had the four injections for sclerotherapy completed in both legs. After discussing the procedure with me and going through my medical history in detail, they took ultrasounds of my legs to review the veins. The doctor then okayed moving forward with the sclerotherapy procedure. Dr. Rizzo and team worked very well together and the time went by quickly. Afterwards, I needed to wear compression stockings on both legs. All in all, this experience was great and I look forward to my legs looking clear of spider veins again. Never examined my legs. Told me the great saphenous vein was so "big" I could possibly need two endovenous ablations on both legs. Upon leaving I was telling the receptionist that the date she was giving me for first procedure was a week before I was flying. She said it was fine. Checked with dr who didn't even bother to come out and tell me himself and he said it was fine. As did the ultrasound tech. Didn't feel comfortable with any of this so went for a second opinion at an amazing hospital. No. You don't need to procedures and no you should never fly that close after. Always follow your instincts. Get a second opinion. I have a 1 Star as I couldn't give none. I will say a one star because office was clean.

Too many…read morepeople working there yet not enough people to return phone calls which is pretty bad for any doctors office but critical for a cardiologists office. The wait time is usually long and the nursing staff went from good to awful. If I had a choice this would not be it. They need to add more people and stop taking new patients if they can't handle the ones they have now.
