She was very thorough explaining the exam and the level of hearing aids they can offer. The exam took about 40-45 minutes only because I asked hear a bunch of questions regarding my exam results. It was a pain and easier to quit using them. Tnen my wife talked me into going to the mason community center to talk to a girl about hearing aids. That's when I met Lindsay Amend. She was upbeat and very knowledgeable, Right away I had a good feeling about her, she did a hearing test and I was shocked at how much I had lost. I made an appointment with her to look farther into hearing aids. I told her about my experience at Costco and she was already aware of how many people who had them and werent using them. So I decided to try them and see. After a short time , I was shocked to find that they got clogged very little .That sold me . and besides they came with many filter packs and new ear buds , so you could change them and be back in business in a few minutes. I've had them for over 6 months and have had very little trouble with them . I was then notified several months into waiting for the appointment that it had been cancelled by the office and I would need to be rescheduled. Instead of getting a somewhat sooner appointment (hoping for maybe beginning of next year), I was told I would have to wait another 7 months for my appointment. This is entirely unacceptable for any medical practice, especially with such a large group like Trihealth. I expected better and unfortunately their patients are clearly not their top priority.

That's probably mostly because it's a pain in the ass to find a new family physician though... As a teenager, I had frequent bouts of strep throat, but never the kind that was detected by the rapid swab tests. Even though this became apparent rather quickly, I can't tell you the number of times I had to make numerous trips to Dr. Farber's office when my rapid tests would come back negative and he would tell me it wasn't strep, yet a few days later, the symptoms persisted. I will give their office props for one thing, though: Shortly after I graduated college and was unemployed with no health insurance, I broke my foot. Since I was an established patient at the office, they worked with me to charge me a minimal amount for my visit and they also worked out a deal with the imaging center where I had my x-ray. I was so grateful not to have to worry about being able to afford getting care for my foot and they took excellent care of me. So, while he might not be the sharpest crayon in the medical box, Dr. Farber is a great guy, and he does look out for his patients.
