This place was amazing!…read more My family and I were visiting Brian Head from California when my 5 year old son got very ill. We brought him in and the entire staff was great. At first we were told it would be a 2 hour wait, but once they heard his cough, they were able to squeeze him in pretty quickly. The nurse was funny and told him exactly what was going on when she took his pulse-ox, blood pressure and temp. Dr Brooks gave him a thorough examination and told us he had congestion in his lungs, and an ear infection. His nurse administered a breathing treatment which helped immediately. Dr Brooks prescribed medications and recommended a local pharmacy since we were from out of town. All in all I was very happy that my son was able to receive care here and I would not hesitate to take him here again should he ever get sick again on our yearly ski trip! Thanks to you all, he was able to enjoy the second half of his vacation and he felt great!

She said rudely with me and then proceeded to give us attitude the whole time. Shana the lady that takes your vitals in back and takes the X- rays, was even more rude. My son kept fainting in the back due to low blood sugar, he's diabetic. Through the door I overheard one of the nurses Kevin say, I can give him some of my lunch, because of his low blood sugar. I then could hear Shana say absolutely not, you're not going to give any of your lunch to him. She has been so rude and condescending when she talks to us. This has happened over and over again, the last two times we have been there. The only bright spots there are nurse Kevin and Dr. Parson.

I came back a couple of times because he wasn't willing to settle for anything less than perfect, and that meant a lot to me. The entire office staff is always so welcoming, friendly, and incredibly accommodating, especially when it comes to working around my crazy schedule because I have 5 kiddos . I also always enjoy chatting with Hunter while I'm there, which is an added bonus to my trip. Dr. Eggen has a way of making a trip to the dentist feel more like visiting with a friend. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and takes pride in his work. I'm so grateful for the time, patience, and attention he put into taking care of me. Highly recommend! Thank you so much!

I was referred to this dentist and I was less than impressed! My cleaning was just fine, but…read moremeeting with Dr Eggen was way below what I was expecting. He walked in and didn't even bother to introduce himself, was arrogant, immediately told me he only works M-W and emergencies are handled elsewhere. My first impression wasn't impressive AT ALL! He looked in my mouth and said that I need to brush and floss better (although his hygienist told me that my teeth and gums are very healthy for my age) and asked when was the last time I saw a dentist. I told him that I have seen a dentist every 6 months since I was a child and follow through on all appointments. He pointed out that I have broken teeth, cavities and crowns that need replaced or repaired immediately. I received a quote that was absolutely ridiculous! I told him I have never had an issue with my teeth and especially the ones he pointed out and he said, "well, nobody has the top of line equipment and X-rays like mine". I told him they weren't bothering me at all. I decided to get a second opinion and when I scheduled that appointment, they requested the X-rays from Eggen Dental. The X-rays that were sent over were horrible quality and blurry (I could even tell), so I had new X-rays done. The new dentist said the "broken teeth" weren't broken at all and those were just lines in my teeth. The new dentist asked if I had issues or pain with those teeth and I said none. He said he would prefer to recheck in 6 months as he didn't see any of the issues Eggen dental said I had. I will never return to Eggen dental as I felt talked down to, felt as the dentist was arrogant and that he was just making things up about issues with my teeth. My new dentist came highly recommended and I will keep my business with a dentist that is friendly, not arrogant and doesn't make up issues that don't exist.

I scheduled an appointment to be evaluated for a condition . When I arrived, I was informed the…read moreappointment was for an ultrasound. I explained that this was incorrect, as I had already completed an ultrasound elsewhere. I had called the office twice prior to the appointment to confirm that my report had been received, and both times I was told it was on file. However, upon arrival, I was told they did not have the report. Fortunately, I had brought my own copy to provide. While I was attempting to clarify this issue at the front desk, one of the staff members abruptly and loudly stated, "my medical information and history" in front of everyone in the waiting room. This was extremely inappropriate and a clear breach of my privacy, as my personal medical information was shared publicly without my consent. When I calmly expressed that this was unprofessional and not appreciated, the staff members mocked me, closed the privacy screen, and proceeded to make unkind and unprofessional remarks about both me and my husband -- comments that we could still clearly hear through the window. After this, I requested the office manager's contact information, including their name, phone number, and email address, so I could report the incident and resolve the matter properly. The staff refused to provide that information, which I believe is another violation of my rights as a patient and a failure to allow me to report a serious concern. In addition to the privacy breach and unprofessional conduct, the appointment itself was incorrectly scheduled, and I was nearly charged for services that I did not request and should not have been billed for. The entire experience was distressing, unprofessional, and unacceptable for a healthcare environment that is supposed to prioritize confidentiality, respect, and patient care. I then called them about a week later to see if I could get the office managers email and phone number and was refused again. This was insane.
