From explanation to result I was totally at ease, understood my options and the possible outcomes, costs and his opinion. Then, Vik even suggested getting in to see the retinol specialist in the office upstairs (one of only 4 on Vancouver Island) and once he got my ok, he bolted upstairs to speak to their VERY busy office and amazingly managed to get me in that very afternoon. Their reasoning- "Oh we really like Vik and the whole team at Eye Plus" . Eye Plus is worth the drive and it's worth your eyes. Book an appt and put your mind at rest and enjoy the experience. Can't say enough. I'll probably bring them chocolates next time I drive by!

Some people cannot wear a mask for psychological, behavioural or health conditions. Some people may also need to remove their masks to communicate due to a hearing impairment. Be respectful of people who can't wear a mask." Please get educated people! I asked him why I had just driven an hour to see him and paid $230 if he could not provide the service I was told he could provide. He gave me a rather weak, "Yeah, I could probably be better at communicating." What he should have offered is a refund since I was lied to and never would have gone to this place if they had been honest and accurate on the phone. So in the end I wasted half my day and $230 and received no contact lens prescription. Criminal.
