I called to update primary insurance with secondary and was informed to do a coordination of benefits if I did not they will cancel my appointment. Fast forward to after the actual appointment. I received a call from Kaitlyn stating I had a balance my primary stated I needed to pay the ded since it's 80/20. I then had to tell her she needed to forward it to my secondary she was adamant about me paying the ded amount before sending it to my secondary. Kaitlyn then tried to educate me on how my plan is and what type of benefits I have. Again she tried to tell me she knew my secondary was NOT going to pay and she is the doctors daughter she has been doing billing for 5 years. Kaitlyn then stated if I did not keep my word of paying the balance from my primary deductible she was not going to go out of her way to send the claim to secondary because again she knew it was going to get denied. I then received the statement in the mail and 2/3 more calls from her in regards to the balance. From the beginning when she first called i did inform her I was not going to make any payments until the balance gets sent to my secondary. Well today I did receive a voicemail stating my secondary paid the bill that Kaitlyn tried to force me to pay for because she "knew" it was going to get denied.

I asked if they could do it cause I worked during the day and they said it was not in their protocol. Most businesses would go under having this type of awful service and it's even more alarming when you consider that they primarily deal with customers with a disability. I even emailed them about it and they simply do not care.

I said I just wanted to know that this was a free hearing test to see what was going on with my hearing. He told me this was only a test for hearing aids and if I want to check my hear I need to see a ENT Doctor for that! I said according to the web sight you give a free hearing test and exam to determine if there is any loss. He repeated about seeing a ENT Doctor. I lost it and told him then you web sight is misleading and to cancel my appointment, and hung up on him. I would not and will not recommend this store to anyone because of the response I received from Chandler and the misleading website information. After contacting several physician's offices, pharmacists and battery companies I ran across Miracle Ear in my search. I was expecting the same response of it's not our hearing aid and we might damage it so we just can't touch it. When I called Miracle Ear I finally heard a Yes, we can help you! It was in a super busy area with a bit of a drive but I only had a few hours to get it fixed. When I arrived the lady at the front desk was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. She offered me a beverage and a seat while the doctor repaired the hearing aid. He worked very quickly and the task was completed in just a few minutes. Afterwards, the physician can out, introduced himself and shared everything was in working order. After a brief chat I left relieved knowing Mom would have her hearing aid before I left for Indiana. Excellent customer service, incredibly friendly and helpful staff who made my day so much better!! I will definitely recommend this Miracle Ear location!
