The ultrasound tech was wonderful. She made me feel super comfortable and had an excellent bedside manner. My issue with this place was with the doctor I was assigned to because my current ob/GYN was out on leave. I normally wouldn't travel this far south. Anyway, the doctor had a horrible bedside manner. I am in the medical field and was ashamed of these rude comments. Apparently, "I should be lucky I don't have it worse than other women and really I should not be in that much pain due to my ovarian cyst not being that big." WTF? Being that dismissing of my feelings and the pure lack of compassion was not cool. I had the urge to punch his face when he was talking to me. I had a friend who said I should have punched him and if the doctor said it hurt I can respond well it shouldn't hurt that bad since I am not Mike Tyson and just an amateur kickboxer/muay thai. I feel sorry for people who are his patients.
