Dr. Brierley is very patient, kind, and listens to your concerns. He addresses each one and at the end of the appointment always asks if we covered everything or if there is anything else. I went nearly 8 years without a PCP due the providers that took my insurance not taking new patients. I feel so lucky to have found this medical group. Highly recommended.

It's practically impossible to obtain an appointment with your primary care physician in a timely manner, always 6-9 months out! Now apparently you cannot be seen in the office for the same issue within a 2 week window. But after finding out they have 2,500 patients per doctor I will be finding a new primary care doctor. I am consistently rushed during appointments and not heard at all. Pushing more medication at me that I don't want, I want resolutions not the pain masked! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE TO ANYONE! I will however agree that Dr. Blu is absolutely amazing and it's a shame she's working at this office. Would love to change her to my primary care physician, but after my last experience I really am not comfortable remaining a patient there.

But when calling the Dr. Blankenship office I was asked why? They didn't want scheduled at first I finally got an appointment for March 3rd. Then after telling that's what the hospital staff told me to do. I get the appointment and when going to see the doctor he came into the room and asked why am I here. When he was the one who told me to go to the emergency room. Then he only listened to my heart and lungs the nurse only checked my blood pressure. He told me to reschedule and get lab work done. I told him I'm having horrible fatigue and shortness of breath my heart rate spikes from just walking to the kitchen and even in the doctor office waiting room. The staff continued doing what they were doing with no concern. I had to ask him to put me on disability he did reluctantly did that. I had all of my disability and leave of absence filled out all they had to do is fill out their form. After I got home I was told that they don't fill out online disability forms. I would have to fill out the paper form and mail it. I told them several times I filled out my half they just needed to fill out disability form b which is the doctors part. So I go fill it out and they call back and said it was ready. They tore off my section and copied the one I filled out online. So another four weeks wasted between the appointment and the debacle with the disability paperwork on their end. It didn't get to the Edd disability office until March 25th. I go back for the next appointment for the results of the lab work. Once again he either doesn't care or hates his job. The nurse did only the blood again and he came in clueless he only asked if I wanted my prescriptions refilled. If I didn't ask him about my disability and what the results were he would have left after 5-10 minutes and 10 minutes is being generous. He told me my kidneys were getting worse and my red blood count was high. I told him I could barely breathe when I walking he said he doesn't do do disability paperwork go have my cardiologist or nephrologist fill it out even though he's my primary physician. I'm in desperate need of a good primary doctor who cares about my patients especially patients who have heart failure and chronic kidney disease and fatigue. I'm going to get back to work and have a heart attack or a stroke at home or worse at work.

Please don't go to this doctor. I don't know if he's burned out or he hates his job. He doesn't…read moreeven look up from the chart.

dr. warwick is a caring, professional, personable, knowledgeable, compassionate and pro-active…read moredoctor. i recommend him highly as a medical professional. whatever your issue, he makes the effort to find out how to help.  he explains well and answers questions clearly and on the spot.   i am writing this review with the hope the staff demeanor will be given an upgrade.  this is not a reflection of the doctor, only the staff. my issue today is with some of the current staff, who seem challenged with tenets of customer service.  patients are in the office for a service. the staff is there to help provide that service. it is important to understand the distinction between who provides a service and who is consuming that service and why people (in this case patients) are there for that service.  we are not in a medical office looking for new friends, we are there for health concerns.  today i had an appointment and was in the waiting room for 45 minutes. i always arrive early out of respect for the practice and other patients, and while i recognize that there are patients ahead of me whose appointments may take longer than expected for any number of reasons, 45 minutes is a long time to wait to be taken to an exam room. the wait in the exam room was approximately ten more minutes. (on another occasion it was another 45 minutes for a total of 90 minutes, so it's best to plan knowing that it may take a bit more time than anticipated, but alsonknowing that the doctor takes great care to address your needs so it is well worth the expenditure of time). at some point during the 45 minute wait in the waiting room or in the exam room, perhaps it would be appropriate for somebody to acknowledge they are running behind and apologize for the wait. today, just at the moment i was called to the exam room i was about to ask at the desk if they would prefer i reschedule, as this was just a follow-up appointment (that was my understanding for today's appointment). with the exception of today, every time i have had an appointment my name has been mispronounced when calling me to the exam room. this seems remarkably insignificant upon first reading this comment, i realize that, however, in a waiting room of ten people, if a patient's name is mispronounced, we are not hearing our name; we are only slightly overhearing somebody else's name and are not likely to respond. nobody responds to somebody else's name. mine is not a tricky name. it is one syllable and not in any way unusual. in the past i have asked, "how is that name spelled", and if it turns out they are trying to get my attention, i explain how my name is pronounced. it would be appropriate to say, "thank you for letting me know", or to apologize, but that has not ever been the response. instead, the already cold, aloof demeanor grows colder and the staff member complains about the patient to their superior because they were corrected. at the beginning of today's visit, i was told "you're here about your knee". i said no, that i was there for a follow-up for the blood work i had done after the last visit and didn't know why it said anything about my knee. similarly, at the beginning of my visit last month i was told, "you're here for a prescription update", when i was actually there for a regular catch-up visit pertaining to all sorts of things and to get some referrals (stated when i called for the appointment), but NOT a prescription. there may be reasons for this on the business side such as doctor notes the patient is not aware of, maybe there's a flag on a prescription expiration, or field restrictions in the appointment software, but if a patient is there for referrals, stating they are there for something else is not going to make sense to the patient. it registers as a communication error and/or misunderstanding on the part of either party, and for those who've had challenges with patient record mix-ups, it is very concerning. it is important to realize that what staff sees on the business side is not what the patient sees on the patient side. the doctor did inform me today that he had a note to discuss my knee. my blood work was not discussed so today i don't know if any of my issues show in that blood work. the doctor was efficient, informative, and action oriented today as he always is. on my way out i stopped to ask if i needed to do anything before leaving. bevin (possibly the office or practice manager) asked about future appointments, i said i thought i had one next month but that it was another follow-up. this is where things became unpleasant and it was 100% unnecessary and initiated by bevin. it would have been so simple to say, "see you then", instead of bevin manufacturing the ordeal which transpired. to be continued in 30 days (yelp parameter).

Also, don't bother arriving early because no matter how early you check in, you will still be called back after your appointment time. I've waited 10-20 minutes past my appointment time just to be taken back, then another 15-20 minutes waiting in the room. I completely understand that sometimes appointments run longer because patients bring up additional concerns, but at some point those concerns should be scheduled for another visit out of fairness to patients who arrived on time for their appointments.
