I'm doing a staycation this weekend. I typically get a vitamin supplement at my local Healthy Planet store in Markham. Instead, I decided to give this store a try. I have been to this little plaza a handful of times. There is a Chinese restaurant that has served dim sum for years, but has changed names. It's a few stores down from this one. I walked in. You immediately see practically every aisle. It's that small. It's highly misleading from the parking lot. Luckily, because it's a small store, finding the vitamin section isn't difficult. I was disappointed that my vitamin supplement wasn't there. I walked the other aisles nearby to see if it was displayed somewhere else. Nope. It wasn't available. I have never had this issue at my local store. The reason for my low rating is a staff member there who gave the impression that he was there to help customers out. He talked to one woman about the benefits of a product. While I was looking at a product, he walked right in front of me and deliberately slowed down, making eye contact with me. What the Hell was that all about?! You had plenty of room to pass behind me. He didn't say, "Excuse me." Nothing. I left the store. Perhaps things were better when the previous three reviews were written. I'm not coming back here if a staff member does not have the decency to ask if he can pass by or if I needed any help. Walked in the store and as hard it is finding an employee on the floor to help look for products they are all grouped with the supervisor. I stood in front of them, waiting politely for the supervisor to finish talking to them, but to realize she's showing her staff pictures on her phone and telling them stories of her experience. And here I thought she was talking about "work and duties" to do in the store. I thought she would stop talking and tell one of her staff members to help me, but instead I got ignored and she continued to chit chat!!!! I lost my patience and had to interrupt her to ask if one of them can help me as there is NO ONE ELSE on the floor!! This supervisor responded with an attitude " what are you looking for?!!" There was no 'so sorry about that, how can we help you?' Ever heard of GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE?!! As a supervisor YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER!!! This morning, -5 degrees, -15 windchill. I arrived 3 minutes before 10am. Door was locked. A man came and knocked on the door, they came and let him in (seemed like he may have been the owner), but told me I had to wait another 3 minutes. I am a senior citizen, and they told me to wait outside for 3 more minutes until they open at 10:00am. I couldn't believe it. The man said I could wait inside the doors, but I couldn't go into the store. Their reason was that their 'systems' don't start up until 10:00am. I said, well then, why can't I go in and shop??? The Healthy Planet at this location is just like any other but I am rating customer service poorly. I only come to this place if it's convenient for me otherwise I go somewhere else. I was pregnant (now my baby is 5 months old) when I first came here and a gentlemen was serving me at the cash register. In that moment a family with a screaming/crying toddler entered the store. The Healthy Planet employee asked me right after, "Are you ready to have one of those?" His rhetorical question rubbed me the wrong way and his level of professionalism sunk big time. read more

Did you not look outside before you left your home or check to see store hours? "I was ignored for 15 mins" well did you speak up or were you a quiet weird timid person who can only type on a screen? You werent helped but others were? Maybe you looked unapproachable! ASK FOR HELP. My experience was great. They had everything I needed. Pretty good customer service, especially since it's a small store! They had something on sale online, had it in-store, and they set it aside for me. Easy peasy! The reason why it's just getting an ok rating is because it's a very small store that doesn't carry produce. Shelves are tall, so it seems a bit dark in there. Smaller than the Etobicoke store on Islington but much better organized and well stocked. Staff are friendly and helpful. They have an abundance of natural and organic food items as well as household goods and personal care items. Prices are a bit higher than Loblaws but their organic bulk section is a real winner. Much cheaper to buy organic bulk beans and pulses here than packaged at Loblaws. We shop here regularly. read more

Customer service is questionable (arrogant yet clueless hipster) and the store itself is kind of dark inside. Should be 2 but 3 stars because so far, it's the only store I've discovered in Sauga that carries my favourite kale chips and their kefir is decently priced ($4.05). I've placed and order and after taking to long to processed it I've requested 3 times that the order be cancelled as I was running out of supplements and had to go and purchase them in store. On my third request, literally 3 minutes after I've send an email, the order was shipped. A week later a got an email indicating that due to the volume they could not have answered my emails and see that the shipment was sent and have instructed me to return the product. The emails were answered however my request for cancellation was not acknowledged. This was a colossal waste of my time as the order was held due to one of the products not being available resulting in me having to go into the store and purchase the supplements then having to go again and return the product received via mail as the customer care did not bother acknowledging my request for cancellation. Waste of time and money on both ends, including shipping costs. Needles to say, I will not be purchasing any more product from Health Planet online or in store. read more

WORST STORE I'VE EVER BEEN IN! EXTREMELY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! Came to buy a Bell product - a quick in and out planned - instead had to stand in line for half an hour, first with two customers ahead of me and one cashier, then, when I thought I'd quickly grab a couple more things, starting the line again. This time there were TWO cashiers (so I thought). Oh, no! The other cashier was the owner's wife who, I guess, decided to play a doctor as she was giving medical advice to a woman who had a rash. While she was putting down all the symptoms of this woman's rash, and the other cashier was flirting with two lady customers, I was completely IGNORED for about 15 minutes, and when he was finally done with the ladies and I wanted to run my purchase, another customer claimed his spot ignoring the fact that I was there before. I got really mad at that point because nobody was paying attention, especially the owner's wife who was still giving advice to the customer, which she is not supposed to do as she is not certified!
