The building is located along Virginia Beach Blvd. The most recent visit here was on July 8, 2025. The building isn't hard to see from the street, but the building is a bit discreet. Parking can be hit or miss sometimes as there are lots of practices in this building and parking was limited a few times coming here. Although I was not the one needing to be seen, I was bringing my mom here as they are included on her medical plan for hearing. The audiologist we worked with was Dr. Stephanie Collins. The initial visit began with getting a background and then having her take a hearing test. Once that was completed, we went into the office to talk about the results and what the next steps would be. Based on the results of the exam, my mom is eligible for hearing aids and was covered fully by the medical plan. It was on that July 8th visit where my mom got to test out the hearing aids. They did make a difference in her ability to hear. The one thing to be careful of is letting the body acclimate to the new hearing aids. Overall, the experiences here went well. There weren't any major issues and such. I'm just glad my mom can hear better now. If you are looking to get your hearing checked and your medical plan covers it, check and see if they are in network.

When I wanted another test Summer '23, I made it clear I could not afford to pay anything. I checked with my insurance and they told me there should be no cost. I was sick all summer and not working. I received a bill for $35. I am refusing to pay it. Both my insurance and the audiologist had told me it should not be any more than my Dec'22 ($()). Also, when I bought them she told me I would receive calls in regard to how I was doing. She never contacted me after I paid for them. (My phone number never changed). I bought an expensive pair of hearing aides (over $3000). Shortly after I moved to TN. I started having problems with them and my hearing with them decreased. I contacted her and she never responded. I would think there would be an audiologist in TN that would honor the guarantee I received with the hearing aides. Regret buying them.

I've been coming here with my mom for a while as she had recently gotten hearing aids here after…read morehaving a hearing test done. Both Shawn and Greg have been great to work with throughout the experience. Let's start from the beginning. We've come into Sam's Club many times and saw they had the hearing aid center. I kept telling my mom that she should at least look to get a hearing test done since she always had the television up at a higher than normal volume so she could hear when watching. After months of coming into Sam's Club, we finally stopped in there and scheduled a hearing test the following week. That following week, my mom had the hearing test. As expected, she had lost a lot of frequencies of hearing, which is not uncommon at that age. In the end, she did end up getting the hearing aids here that same day since the prices here are much lower than other hearing aid places for a similar product. Over the next month or so, we would continue to come back to get more adjustments and more information about how to use the hearing aids, etc. On that same day we got home, she didn't even realize that my car made audible beeping sounds when the door was open. as well as hearing sounds of some things at the house too. Both Shawn and Greg are great. They make the process so easy and to help you in any way possible. Recently, due to circumstances and some issues with the hearing aids, they were returned for a full refund. The background noises and some other high pitched noises just weren't able to get out. Once circumstances change, we may go back to get another version of the hearing aids. This would definitely be the place to go. In the coming weeks, I also plan to have a hearing test just to get a baseline of my hearing while I'm still younger. The hearing test is free and you aren't pressured into purchasing something. If you want to have a hearing test or looking for hearing aids, this would be the place to come.

However, the week of her first appointment, I received a text stating there wouldn't be a provider in that day. I called to reschedule, which pushed the appointment out an extra month. The day of her appointment, the assistant couldn't read the doctor's writing of what lab work needed done. Dr. Saffold was currently with another patient, so she told us she'd send an email after speaking with him. That afterward we can go to any Sentara location to have it completed. This added additional driving, paperwork, and time for us. Later that day, I picked up her RX and didn't understand the directions on the label because they were worded wrong. It took several days for someone to get back with us. The week of her follow-up appointment, we received another text stating a provider wouldn't be in and her appointment would need to be rescheduled AGAIN. No one EVER answers the phone. Every single time I have called, I have had to leave a message and play phone-tag with them to speak to an actual person. It has been well over 3 weeks and I have still yet to get my daughter's follow-up scheduled. She is out of the medication that was prescribed. Our pharmacy has reached out to the office and the refill has been ignored. Grateful I never canceled the CHKD appointment because we will not be going back. My daughter is autistic and the experiences we've had with this office have been added stress that is unnecessary. I have worked for doctors and am experienced in healthcare. The lack of follow-through and carelessness from this office is embarrassing.
