I am also intuitive, and I know some of you are or have been dying to ask about what I am about to write about, in particular. Its okay that you are shy.. not everyone is a nosy extrovert like me. Its no secret, especially if we're friends on other social media platforms or in real life, that I recently acquired some very beautiful, new and large breasts. Yes, I had them implanted into my body. If you didnt notice, you're either very gay or very blind. Now that the boobs are out of the bag, or wait, they are actually in bags, in my body.. whatever, I need to let you know that this was the best decision I have ever made for myself ever, in my life. When I was a girl, I used to pray for boobs. Well, God didn't answer... So I made it happen anyway. Now, lets talk about how much I love the man who gave me this new found confidence. Dr. Bounds, I cannot thank him enough for his professionalism, empathy, his kind demeanor, his level of expertise and how comfortable he made the entire process. I never once felt weird or pressured and he did everything I asked perfectly. He listens to you and what you want and delivers a beautiful result. His team of nurses are top notch. I felt like I was hanging out with my best friends when I would go in for followups, except, my friends don't massage my boobs on a regular basis. (yes, post op massage is mandatory unless you want shitty looking implants). The day of surgery I went in, a ball of nerves, and immediately felt at ease when Dr. Bounds entered the room and started drawing all over my chest. This dude seriously has the best job in the universe. I definitely went into the wrong field. My anesthesiologist was amazing. We joked about something or other and then I suddenly felt warm and looped and I woke up a new woman. The entire team did an amazing job that day and I am so very pleased with the entire process. Especially the end result. Perfection. The recovery process was F-ING HORRIBLE, but that was to be expected. Dr. Bounds made sure I had everything I needed to make me as comfortable as you can possibly be after having your muscle sliced open and then have something shoved up in there. They saw me each week for a month to check on stitches and drains and my overall health. This was truly a great experience. I've been doing Botox for years and having recently moved to Virginia, this was my first treatment…read morein a new state. I met with Denise for my consult, not the doctor in December 2016. There were no mini ice packs before, during or after my injections. (These are great to reduce redness, swelling and bruising plus they help numb the injection site.) Last, Denise didn't draw up the Botox in front of me, which made me feel very uncomfortable as I like to physically see that I'm getting exactly what I'm paying for. I always stay around 25 units but Denise did over 45, the most I've ever had. My results were not good. Too much Botox caused my eyebrows to push down and one eye to droop. At the same time my droopy eye also had a new deep crease wrinkle above it. My crows feet didn't look like I had any injections at all. Clearly I had too much in areas and not enough in other areas. Denise stated that I had to allow 14 days for the full effect and return at 3 weeks for a follow-up. I thought this was odd and honestly brushed off the 14 day statement at first as my Botox always kicks in by day 3 and I have full results at one week, not two. However, she was correct. This was so odd to me that the process took so long for the Botox to take effect. I can only assume their hydration of the Botox is very high (meaning the product is very diluted). I went back for a followup at 3 weeks and I explained how unhappy I was. Denise made excuses for why I had such poor results and tried to sell me more Botox. I agreed I needed more around the eyes as oddly this didn't take at all, but certainly not my forehead which caused my eye to droop. Regardless, I didn't feel comfortable buying more product from her considering my results. Since I've been getting Botox for so many years, I can go about 5 months between sessions. However, this round was unusual and oddly wore off faster than my other treatments. I had to get another round of Botox less than 3 months later, from a different practice. Obviously, I won't be a returning client at this practice. With this being said, I wouldn't tell someone not to seek Botox at this establishment. You may go and have great results or you may have poor results. Still, if you go, take your own ice pack, (her injections are hard and deep) and ask her to draw up the Botox in front of you. I recommend going with small doses and later adding more if needed. Don't fall for the pressure that you "NEED" more if it's out of your normal range or if your first time getting Botox. You can always get more Botox but you can't remove it. If you get bad results, take it as an expensive lesson learned and move on to a new DOCTOR. If you get decent results, watch how quickly it wears off. If it seems fast, then try a different practice for comparison. Botox has to be diluted at the physicians office and all offices/spas do this differently. Heavily diluted Botox makes the practice a ton of money as they get more product this way. Good for them, not so good for you. You may have to get more units of Botox to achieve the look you want and it will wear off faster, forcing you to return for more. (This is very true for those Botox Groupon offers! Avoid these!!) You can always ask what their concentration level is for their Botox, however, you will have to take their word as honest. The product will just have to speak for itself.
