Prior to being treated at Healthwise Chiropractic I was suffering from back and neck pain for over 25-years. I had tried physical therapy, epidural injections and more. My condition continued to get worse, especially working from home during the first few weeks of the pandemic. I decided to meet with Dr. Annie who set-up a series of X-Rays. During my consultation she carefully went over my results and had detailed notes to discuss my neck and back issues. She spent an hour with me going over everything. She created a treatment plan tailored to my specific situation. I agreed to a series of sessions which included stretches, electric back and shoulder stimulation and adjustments. Prior to my treatments I had difficulty moving around easily with daily pain in my neck and lower back. I also had constant numbness and pain in both feet. After several treatment sessions the mobility in my neck and back had improved dramatically. The pain and stiffness has been reduced significantly. This review is long overdue. When I first came to Dr. Annie for help with my back I had been dealing with pain and an inability to move or even rest without at least some level of discomfort at all times. This had been going on for almost two months and I was running on fumes, financially and mentally. I am a photographer and I am not exaggerating when I say that my back situation was ruining my life. I couldn't shoot and I was also slowly accepting that this could be how the rest of my life would be unless something changed. I was heartsick and defeated. I knew Dr. Annie from a networking group but I was a little worried about chiropractors in general and it took hearing several other people talk about how great she was before I made an appointment. She examined me, did a scan, told me what she thought was going on, and then requested that I get X-rays before we did anything else. I went to see my primary doctor as well and also got an MRI to compare all the results. The tests all confirmed what Dr. Annie had said after her first look and my primary doctor suggested either physical therapy or a chiropractor. I agreed to Dr. Annie's treatment plan and we got started right away. My symptoms improved almost immediately. In the matter of a week or two I was up and functioning again! I felt like an idiot for waiting so long. These days I visit Healthwise Chiropractic once a month to keep things in order. If I have a flare up because I do something stupid, she's my first call. It is terrifying to have a back injury that can change your entire life in a blink. Having Dr. Annie on my team has saved me hours of agony and also given me peace of mind. Dr. Annie stopped my world from spinning! I had severe vertigo and without any exaggeration after three sessions it was gone. Literally magic. I would lay down and my world would spin.
