We actually started out as massage therapists together, but due to medical reasons I had to retire. Being a veteran, when it came time for me to get veteran massages, I first went to another young lady, but she just wasn't up to par. When I had to resubmit my consult, they gave me a list of names. As soon as I heard Gloria's name, I said, "Yes, give me Gloria." And I've been going to her ever since. Her massages are therapeutic and medical, helping my back, neck, and shoulders, while also easing my fibromyalgia, headaches, and sinus issues. They are rejuvenating, invigorating, and she has those healing hands that seem to naturally find exactly what your body needs. Gloria's place offers more than just massage. There are services like reflexology, ionic foot detox, raindrop therapy, Reiki, sound baths, and compression therapy. Marlene, who works with her, also makes natural tinctures to help with different ailments. You can even purchase gift certificates -- a perfect way to bless others with their healing talents. On top of that, Gloria is also an author who has shared her own story and helped empower women through her books and retreats. Her compassion shows up not only in her writing but in her work on the table. If you want more than a massage -- if you want a true healing experience -- Gloria and her team at Soulful Journey are the ones to see. As a massage therapist myself, I know how important it is to make bodywork part of your overall health care. Massage therapy, along with the other therapies Gloria and her team provide, isn't just a luxury -- it's a vital part of maintaining balance, wellness, and a healthier life.

She exudes calm and compassion, which begin the healing experience as soon as you meet her. I needed a last minute appointment to help with severe back and neck tension and pain before an important event. I chose Jill partly because she was a licensed medical massage therapist so I trusted she would at least be clinically knowledgable enough to avoid doing more damage (which I've experienced before). Second, she asked questions about my situation to determine whether a massage was advisable at this time. (Check!) Third, she bent over backward to accommodate my schedule. (Check+!) Fourth, she was reasonably priced. (Check++!) Fifth, she underpromised and over delivered! (Check++!) Lastly, she offered unweird spiritual support in an unobtrusive way when I mentioned I had prayed about choosing the best massage therapist for me. (Check+! X INFINITY!) The result? Perfection.
