I've been coming here since they opened. Over the first 2 years the service was fantastic and they did a great job of hosting you. In the float pod rooms they had multiple soft towels, ear plugs, everything for a shower including q-tips, make up remover, and everything was in great shape. They even had a room where you could blow dry your hair, do make up and otherwise get ready after the float. (Blow dryers, lotion and even disposable combs provided). They sold a couple of years ago and it's gone down hill. The showers all need to be cleaned (lime scale on the shower heads, dingy looking), they don't stock the rooms the same, towels are scratchy and you only get one. The biggest bummer for me is they got rid of the room where you could finish getting ready. I was counting on that the last time I went, this past week, and they have turned it into a sauna so I was left running around with wet hair in 20 degree weather. (I live 30 min outside of town so I was left running errands with wet hair). The pods are also seeing some wear. The speakers don't work as well (really warped sounding) and they no longer ease you out of your float by slowly turning binaural beats on but instead blast them with light at the same time. Not a great experience any more, sadly. They also seem more interested in the latest "fat blasting" technology instead of focusing on the float tanks like they used to. Every couple of months they are announcing some new sculpting system or electronic device to remove fat. ‍ read more

Heard about this place from a local friend and got to do my first ever float and cryotherapy treatments here. Float therapy is amazing and cryo is a challenge, but both benefit from ongoing treatments and I know I would be a regular if I lived here. Definitely worth trying, with friendly staff and clean and well-maintained equipment. read more

INCREDIBLE!!!! We are local and I try to go at least once a week. I use to get weekly massages but the effect didn't last. The Epsom salt literally heals every little scratch and ache. When I was referred by a friend I was skeptical. My genius engineer husband who is typically negative Nancy, read all about it and explained to me why the Concept is brilliant. All I can say is that I am addicted. It makes me feel Fabulous for days and that is really all that matters. Worth every cent!!!! Oh and Charity is LOVELY and very knowledgeable. I love the shampoo too! hint: what you have to do is get in and shut your mind completley off. Meditate. You can even play a guided meditation if you like. I do nothing. I was interested in floating after reading so many benefits and testimonials, so I was super excited when Healing Waters opened here in Jackson! I've been a number of times over the past year, and I look forward to it every chance I get to go. Before my first float, the owner explained everything very well and went over all the details. The rooms and lobby are spotless, with many amenities awaiting you after your float. Booking is very easy and the prices are very fair. My word of advice is your definitely use the ear plugs, I skipped that step my first float and had water in my ears for nearly a week....LOL! Not something you want if you and prone to swimmer's ear. What a find! Something a little different from the usual Spa Experience... Immersion in a solution of Epsom Salts and water heated just to the natural temperature of the body takes places in a special floatation "pod". There are options of soothing light therapy or total darkness. The idea is to transport the floater to a state of relaxation while being protected from outside stimulation. Healing Waters is in an attractive facility, spotlessly clean and welcoming. A brief introduction by the owner framed our Float experiences. The Pods are housed in large rooms with showers. Amenities for the experience are all provided - like a towel, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, optional ear plugs for floating, as well as a disk for head support if desired, plus bottled water and a spritzer with fresh water is case you get the saline in your eyes! There is a bench and hooks for personal belongings. Floats are for 60 or 90 minutes. Following the Float experience, a changing room which is stocked like a luxury Spa with body and hair products for getting street ready. My friend and I were up for a personal indulgence while visiting Jackson Hole, and we were delighted to find Healing Waters. As a first timer it was a unique experience, one which I would enjoy repeating. I loved the feeling of the buoyancy and the complete cocoon-like space. I chose total darkness and drifted off to I don't know where, exactly! Truly a phenomenal experience!!! In a world built around 24/7 visual and auditory stimulation you forget what it feels like to simply exist in your own skin. Having never done a float before I wasn't sure what to expect. The facilities were clean, comfortable and calming from the moment you walked through the door. The staff was easy to talk to and very quick to answer any questions a novice like myself could think of ... "Yes, you can doze off and no, you won't drown." After the most relaxing 90 minutes of my life, I was left wondering how to fit 800 pounds of salt in my bathtub at home. Not something I would recommend by the way. If ever you feel like you need to unplug and simply reset, a float is an absolute must and Healing Waters is a tremendous place to float. read more

If you're looking for a truly unique calming and soothing experience, this is for you. And, as I understand, Epsom salts do wonders for the muscles. I particularly enjoy this type of activity after a long week of typical of Jackson Hole activities... Mountain biking, trail running, hiking and then a healing waters float. 35 weeks pregnant and this was my first float. Clean and quiet location. Greeted by happy and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend floating to relieve the aches and pains of pregnancy. I immediately relaxed and fell in to a quiet, reflective, restful mind state. My body enjoyed the weightlessness. I was visiting from Boston and I tried floating for the first time here. I loved it and immediately signed up for another appointment. It was therapeutic and allowed me to relax in a way that went beyond massage. It was closer to a craniosacral experience and it was just so restorative. The float pods were very clean and the staff was efficient and helpful. Inside the pod, I never felt claustrophobic even for a moment (and I consider myself a very claustrophobic person). The option to leave the top open or partly open was comforting but after about ten minutes I actually closed the domed lid and shut off the lights and went into a very deep state of calm. I loved it. When my husband came out to join me in Jackson, I signed him up for a float and he also loved it saying it allowed his mind and body to rest fully. He is also doing another appointment. He actually thinks he fell asleep during the float but wasn't sure if he was just sooo relaxed or actually sleeping! Totally a great therapy. Awesome place. Try it! read more

I love floating! The atmosphere is so relaxing, the minute you walk in the door. The owners and employees are so friendly and accommodating, and make you feel comfortable in the space. They thoroughly explain the process and schedule appointments to minimize conflicts with other floaters in the after-float room that's available to put yourself together for the day. The staff does everything they can to make sure you know what you're doing and are comfortable. I'm highly claustrophobic, which was my biggest fear about trying this, but was able to do it thanks to the suggestions the staff gave me. This was my first experience of floating. I would definitely do it again with better knowledge after having done it. The facility was awesome. It was clean and warm and had great lighting and amenities for cleaning up and dressing afterward. There was a bit of a sting in my "private area" at the beginning of the float that took some time to get used to. I am assuming this was from the high level of magnesium. And, I did get water in my ears, but I didn't insert the earplugs properly, so that was my fault. It is definitely worth doing it more than once! I need to make plans to get back there. read more

They do not stand behind their word. I purchased two float sessions via their website and called the business the following day to explain I wasn't able to enter the locals or employee discount on their website. The gentleman I spoke with promised to issue a credit to my account, but when I asked about it upon finishing the float session, I was told the owner would not honor the discount as a credit to my account for a future service. The difference was approximately $40.00 for the two float sessions I purchased online. If I would've known they wouldn't honor my employee or local discount due to booking online, then I would've simply cancelled the appointment per their 24-hour cancellation policy and rebooked the service over the phone to receive the discount. I also noticed they offer 80-minute sessions for the price of a 60-minutes session on Sundays, which is when the appointments were, but this was not disclosed to me. Lastly, the float itself made my neck and shoulders sore due to a lack of support in the water while floating. They give you a hollow foam ring to use as a pillow but it didn't help stabilize my neck and shoulders. Unfortunately, this experience did not end well, and I will not be returning. read more
