I appreciate the dollar a minute but let me tell you she had no experience. Very disappointed. Save your money. Will never return, this is a one and done place. Again, never again, it sucks balls.

I went to see Gabrielle for a private acupuncture session last week to address my issue with teeth…read moregrinding. She spent a long time checking in with me, talking about my concerns and asking me questions. She even demonstrated the path that energy takes through a few meridian lines that run through my face - neat! The highlights for me were: the amount of one on one time I got to with her, the calming and deep caring energy I felt from her, the knowledge she held about acupuncture and the meridian lines for the jaw, the quick relief of the tightness I had in my jaw, the deep relaxation I felt after the session AND the cold that was creeping up went away (yay!). I totally understand the value of a private acupuncture session over a community session now (until now I have only received a community session). Both are super healing, but the private session offers time for deep inquiry into health issues and concerns, asking questions and more time to be cared for one on one. As a mama, being taken care of like this is such a treat! Thanks Gabrielle! I highly recommend Gabrielle and getting a private session from her at least for your first session!

I really do thank God that ten biocharger sessions healed a long-standing health problem - had been ongoing for at least 7 years. (Standard medicine offered no help.) His staff - Reggie, Jackie, LaKeisha and others - at the center are wonderful, very patiently working with me on finding and implementing the right rubric and always keeping things upbeat! Insurance didn't cover the cost, but I found the cost to be quite reasonable and the treatments were definitely effective. I would return if a need arose, and, of course, also highly recommend this to anyone. Blessings!

Awesome experience... my friend and I purchased a group in for the cryotherapy and 45 min float…read moretherapy... once entering this place we were quickly greeted by both staff at the desk. We were checked in and completed questionnaires on our health. Wallie was very informative and showed us around. She took us to our rooms and gave us detailed instructions on what to do and took our vitals. You are provided a robe, socks and slippers. We started with the cryotherapy for 3 mins (you can wear underwear but no wires). Once inside the machine you take off your robe and put on gloves. The cryotherapy although cold is a different pleasant experience; the only way to describe it is if you went outside naked in the snow without the snow touching you (weird lol). We were then escorted to our float pod rooms. You should shower and shampoo your hair before entering. The door locks for privacy. You can either go nude or wear a bathing suit. There is a color changing light inside the pod, light button, panic button, wash cloth, water bottle (in case you get salt in your eye or face) and a neck pillow. I enjoyed that you are in your own space and on your own time. Once you get in the pod and close the lid you can just relax.... I swam for a bit and moved different body parts. It's amazing how you automatically float (for those afraid of draining).... the time flies by. Once you are signaled to get out you will shower and shampoo/ condition your hair. We will be returning and I recommend this beautiful gem of a place. P.S. they offer several other services and prices are affordable..

Ok, let's take this way back. Seven years ago I had never been to a chiropractor and was actually…read morescared to see one. For some reason I didn't like the "cracking" sound. However, I was experiencing immense neck pain at the time and was at my limit--I would've done anything to make the pain go away and go away for good. My cousin suggested Dr. Chris to me and after that very first visit, I had fallen in love with chiropractic care and continue to go to Balance for both my injuries and preventative care. Dr. Chris is incredibly knowledgeable. He'll answer every question I have and never makes me feel rushed. Some visits, I don't even mention what areas are bothering me, but it always seems like as soon as I get on the table he finds the exact spot that's causing the trouble. The location has also been very convenient no matter where I lived. It's right near Rittenhouse Sq and there's tons of public transportation options. I work near by and so quick lunch appointments are a plus. Several occasions I've stopped by without an appointment, and they always squeeze me in. Sometimes I'll have to wait a few minutes to be seen, but it's worth it--plus who doesn't expect some kind of wait for a doctor's appointment? I'd much rather wait 10 mins for an adjustment and feel instant relief than wait 45 mins at my primary for them to tell me there's nothing they can do about my neck pain. Over the years, I've also taken advantage of the monthly sales they've had to offer. I've had massages with Kathy, Steven, and Jeannille. These three therapists all have different styles, but every massage I've had has been fantastic. I wouldn't consider Balance to have a "spa-like" atmosphere, but I would much rather get a massage here than anywhere else as they are focused not only on relaxation, but also and more importantly, on healing. Ok so maybe I've raving about this place because I've been coming here for seven years, but then again I wouldn't have been coming here for seven years if there was nothing to rave about.

I have also taken a few of her very thoughtful workshops and would recommend them as well. I recently also started to see Sarah who was recommended to me by Julia. Although I don't want to limit Sarah's talents, the one word that makes me think of her is "strong." I never imagined that so much strength could come out of her hands.
