He fixed the irrigation line but re-installed the pot backwards with the seam to the front (very ugly). The pot was also installed way out of level. Pics below. I sent him these pictures and asked that he make this right. He refused to come out and suggested I find someone else. I understand that people make mistakes, but when they do not stand behind their work, it is not acceptable. I will not be using Sergio again for any jobs big or small. And will not be recommending him to any of my neighbors.

Soon I had a quote (which seemed reasonable enough to me), and a mockup to give us an idea of what the new space could look like. Soon the project began. The crew was courteous and professional. Everything was well communicated. After 5 days our new front yard came to life - from dead grass to desert garden. Immediately we were getting compliments from our neighbors. They took total advantage because we're elderly and know nothing about plants. We just took out the $3000.00 worth of shit They sold us. 1) they sold us tropical even though I said they wouldn't work because our backyard gets too much direct sun and heat. Anthony assured me that didn't matter. All that mattered was water. They ALL died within a few months 2) I was told the drip system they installed could be adjusted for each plant to get more or less water. Not true 3) I explained the dirt they were planting in was old and depleted. I was told the dirt didn't matter. They did not treat the dirt or even fertilize what they planted. 4) the drip system they put in had a control that it has a 300 page online manual. Even their installer didn't know how to set it up and was unable to explain it to me. YET he told me it needed to be updated every 6 months when we changed the batteries. Of course we were not told about this requirement until instalation was completed. As I said earlier we are elderly! I asked for a simpler timer and they said there was no option. 5) they are NOT woman owned and operated. Yes, the scamming husband put the company in his wife's name for tax purposes but she CLEARLY knows nothing about plants or landscaping. When I had them come out to see the dead plants she never spoke. Her husband and Anthony did all the arguing and yelling and put all the blame on us. I have never experienced such lack of professionalism in any service industry. All I asked for, and still feel we are entitled to, is a refund. The dead plants have been removed, the inadequate drip system has been removed, and we are starting over. I was duped by a morally bankrupt company. Don't be fooled by the fake reviews on their web page! They have no place to leave a review on their web page and they aren't here so where did those reviews come from?? THEY ARE SCAMMERS! BE WARNED!

We found several landscaping services through Yelp, and after a round of on-site consultations and subsequent detailed estimates, we decided to go with Rafael and Lobato Landscaping. Not knowing anything about what differentiates landscapers, we chose Lobato primarily on the basis of the favorable Yelp reviews and lowest estimated cost. Thankfully, we ended up very, very pleased with our decision. Rafael and his team were able to make our vision become reality. Everything came out exactly as we had envisioned. Rafael was proactive and responsive with his communication throughout the project, as well as flexible to accommodate our choices for lighting and rocks. I called a day before to ensure things were still on as I need to let my neighbor know this tree is located on my property line and he would need to move his cars. Never received any communication at all and the day has come and gone I guess Antonio didn't want to cut tree for the negotiated price. Not sure what to think a little communication would've helped.

The job took about 3 weeks and the final cost was close to the original estimate. I received about 4 bids prior to choosing Dana Pacific. Far and away, I knew immediately that Socorro was the most honest, knowledgeable and professional of all the companies I talked to. His estimate was in the middle--not the cheapest not the most expensive so it seemed fair and complete. He and the crew came every day from about 7:30-4:00 as long as it wasn't raining. They did a fantastic job. My yard looks better than I could have ever imagined. They were a pleasure to work with. Very friendly, always checking to see if I had questions, etc. He's followed up to see how everything is going, if I have any questions, and offered to come back out and check on everything and do a bit of weeding. I have another very large job I'm planning...removing my deck on the front of my house and building a new one, moving the front steps and building a new retaining wall. So I would suggest if you're looking for your system to be repaired properly, I would use someone else. He did charge me $170 for a an incomplete repair. The technicians that I did have come out and fix it the following day actually tore out what he because they said it wasn't done correctly. Update.... They apologized and gave me a full refund.

Roland was our contractor and he gave us very reasonable estimates and stayed within budget and stuck to the timeline. They did artificial turf in our front yard and added a concrete step pathway to our front door. We were extremely happy with the way it turned out. They also did a waterfall feature in our backyard which did have a few issues, like the motor going out several times. However, every time we reached out to Roland, he followed through and sent his guys to resolve the issue. He stands behind his work, and even when the motor stopped working after a year, he sent one of his guys to buy us a new motor and get it installed without charging us for it. We were absolutely impressed with the way this company takes care of their clients and does not give up until the customer is 100% satisfied. Last month, we contacted Roland asking if he could do a small job for us; we wanted artificial turf installed on the small strip of dirt on the other side of our driveway, and even though the job was super small, Roland agreed to take the job. We had gotten another estimate from someone else and Roland's quote was far more reasonable. He sent his guys and they got the job done in two days. Overall, we are impressed with the quality of work, the very reasonable pricing, and integrity of standing behind their work. He was quick to respond to my text, schedule an appointment at my residence to discuss the work I had in mind, and offer recommendations. He was very easy to work with and communicate with. We ended up with his fixing my drip irrigation system, and then adding fertilizer and mulch. He even cleaned up after all his yard work. I was impressed. I will use David again for some landscaping ideas regarding adding new and existing plants. His prices are fair. And again he is quick to respond and easy to communicate with by text and phone.

Our project…read moreincluded tearing up poured concrete and slate flooring both of which were showing age and damage, replacing with new Belgard pavers, and building a block wall, firepit, and custom block bench seating. We are really happy with how everything turned out. While a variety of challenges arose (thanks Covid) the communication and ease of working with Will made it overall a great experience. A few things that I wanted to highlight... (1) Detail. Will was not the cheapest contractor we got a bid from, however his quote was meticulously detailed, well thought out, and easy to follow. When I started asking a few of the other contractors about what we had discussed but was not written down in their quote, their price and timeline started rising. This showed me Will was honest and up-front and I would not get change orders for things that were verbally agreed. (2) Communication. There were a few delays for various reasons crew members getting sick, small corrections, supply chain etc - however the communication was great. As soon as a problem was identified it was communicated as well as the plan to rectify. (3) Flexibility. We didn't know exactly what we wanted when we started, I'd say we were 90% there but made some changes on the fly. Will was involved, shared his opinion, included the foreman when appropriate, but also willing to work with us when we had changes. (4) Accountability. When a project stretches a few months there are bound to be some issues that arise. Will took accountability for everything that was reasonably in his teams control. As an example when we didnt like one aspect of the firepit, he came over and agreed it was not up to the standard of the rest of the job so he completely redid it, at no cost to us. We will be working with Will again in a year or so when we install matching pavers in our driveway. Projects are tough but I would recommend Will due to his professionalism, accountability, flexibility, great communications and ultimately a beautiful finished product.

After many unsuccessful attempts of hiring a hardscape contractor, Saloman arrived punctual to provide an estimate for my backyard project. He completed the work timely as promised and left the entire area better than he found it. Impressed with the backyard hardscape, we asked him to start on our front yard. As expected, Saloman is a true artist that loves his work. Unlike previous contractors, he meticulously trimmed and shaped our palm trees without damaging the trees or any surrounding plants. Also, he even cleaned our roof that was full of debris. The most impressive thing about Saloman is that he works on each project with such care and attention to detail as though it's his own house. And unlike some of the other contractors (we got many other quotes), Saloman's prices were very reasonable and lower than all the other contractors. We will definitely keep his number for all future projects.
