I went in for my first colonic yesterday, and I'll be honest--I was both really nervous and excited…read moreto try it. My therapist, Sigma, was incredibly kind, respectful, and professional. She did a great job explaining the process and made me feel comfortable right from the start. That said, my experience didn't quite match what I expected. Based on what I had seen online, I thought the therapist would be more hands-on and present throughout the session. Instead, this felt much more like a self-guided experience. As a first-timer, I found that part a bit challenging. I was asked to insert the equipment myself, and since I had never done anything like this before, I struggled and didn't get it right at first. Sigma did step in to help once she noticed, and she stayed briefly to make sure things were working properly, which I appreciated. After that, I was mostly on my own. I was told to massage my stomach and even given a massage gun, but I didn't really know what I was doing, so it felt a bit confusing and overwhelming for a first experience. Overall, if you're already familiar with colonics and comfortable with a more independent, self-service style, this place could work well for you. However, if it's your first time and you're looking for a more guided, hands-on experience, you may want to consider a different location. That being said, I did feel great afterward and I'm glad I tried it. I'll definitely be going again--just somewhere that offers a bit more support during the session.

She was consistently kind, courteous, professional, and attentive; she explained the process and made me feel comfortable at every stage of the treatment. This was my first experience with colon hydrotherapy. I had previously tried detox programs based on liquids and supplements, but personally, I had never experienced anything quite like this. What impressed me most was actually being able to see what was being eliminated from my intestines. It can be embarrassing to talk about, but it is simply part of our body's natural digestive process. I also learned more about *Candida*, a fungus that naturally inhabits our bodies but can cause problems if it overgrows. There is much debate regarding *Candida*, toxins, and their relationship to our overall health; this made me realize the importance of paying attention to digestive health. Of course, I am referring to the colon hydrotherapy sessions, where I could clearly see the elimination of *Candida* and parasites. For me, these 10 sessions were a very positive and eye-opening experience. Thank you, Sona, for your kindness, knowledge, patience, and excellent care. I deeply appreciate everything you did for me!

Diana was extremely helpful, she intuitively addressed all the concerns I was too nervous to ask about or explain. She made the entire process go so smoothly. My colonic sessions with Diana were a powerful healing experience in their own right. My body began…read morereleasing in subtle, emotional, and deeply spiritual ways--even before the major physical shifts occurred. I had been dealing with chronic bloating and constipation, and while gas and hard pebbles were released, what struck me most was the emotional cleansing. I cried--a lot. I could feel memories and energy being flushed from my body. Each session I felt the releases increase and become easier. Diana gently massaged and applied pressure to my abdomen during each session. Without fail, right after, there would be a beautiful flood of release. That hands-on attentiveness made all the difference. My final session was especially emotional--I cried again and released a tremendous amount of urine. It truly felt like my kidneys were flushing old energy, tension, and fear. I also want to take a moment to honor Laila, Diana's daughter, who assisted with my colonic sessions. She carried such a calm, nurturing presence--young in years, but so wise in energy. Her hands were intentional, her spirit grounded, and her care was just as powerful as her mother's. Every time she applied abdominal pressure or guided me through the session, it felt like another wave of release opened up. Their teamwork--the way they move in sync, generationally and energetically--is something rare and sacred. I'm grateful to have received healing through both of their hands. This was so much more than a cleanse. It was healing through water, pressure, trust, and love. I'm deeply grateful. Also, the environment is clean and peaceful!

What started as a first-time visit turned into monthly sessions because the impact has been so life-changing for me. When I first came to her, I was dealing with serious digestive issues and even thought I might end up in the ER. Instead, I tried a series of colonics with Carmen, and it was the turning point I needed. After doing a weekly series for a few months, my health completely shifted. Now, by keeping monthly maintenance sessions, I've been able to stay feeling great and avoid those scary episodes altogether. (Not medical advice, just my personal experience!) Carmen is incredible at what she does. With almost 30 years of experience, she immediately put me at ease as a first-timer. The process is comfortable, the time actually flies by, and she creates such a safe, supportive environment. Beyond her expertise, what stands out most is how much she genuinely cares. She listens, she's never pushy, and she always wants what's best for you. Over time she's become more than a practitioner, she feels like a friend. Her space is in her home, and it's spotless, clean, and welcoming. You can tell she puts so much care into every detail. If you're curious about colon hydrotherapy or looking for someone who is both highly skilled and deeply compassionate, I cannot recommend Carmen enough. OMG, I want to adopt Fatima. Fatima, will you be my Mama? Or at least my Mama in LA?…read more So... before you Yelp!ers read any further, I should warn you that, in case you didn't sniff it out (no pun intended) from the other reviews, I am about to review my colonic experience. Yeah I know... (listens to awkward silence in the room) ...but actually, once you get over the idea that this is a procedure that could be very invasive to a very private, usually-taboo-to even-your-doctor area... the awkwardness goes away. Seriously. This is by far one of the best ways I've discovered to cleanse my system, clean the pipes so to speak, and though yes I was TERRIFIED at first, now that I've done it... I'm not sure what took me so long. Fatima is one of the best holistic practioners I've ever met. Very professional and organized, and yet also charming and funny. She put me at ease right away, and even held my hand and coached me through when I was feeling nauseated halfway through the experience (my fault for not breathing properly, not hers). And the results are incredible - I just had my first colonic this weekend and already I'm feeling lighter, more energetic and my skin has cleared up. That said, the difference between a colon cleansing that will having you coming back for more versus one that could traumatize you for life is all dependent on the practitioner. PLEASE, this is coming from a self-confessed penny-pinching frugalista... don't cheap out on this one. I mean if you decide to get it done, YES they are really going to stick a tube down there and YES you do want someone as professional, knowledgeable and patient as Fatima and YES it is worth paying the premium for someone of her caliber. So why not just go visit Fatima instead? And seriously, she is NOT expensive. Out of respect for her business I won't mention numbers here, but let's just say she's very realistic about people's means to afford these treatments and will work something out with you if you really want to try this unconventional but very effective procedure. She's very much motivated by providing wellness to her community and is very reasonable with her prices. Cheers to you dear Fatima, thank you SO MUCH for making me feel right at home during what could have been a procedure that went horribly wrong. I will see you soon.

However, Nadya has the best bedside manner, she pretty much makes you forget what you're actually doing and makes conversation while also making sure you are comfortable and taken care of. Her studio is always incredibly clean and well-maintained. My health issues transformed over time, in part due to this service.
