I would literally be so screwed if not for Carmen and her services. I get colonics at least once a month and am unsure how the average human being exists without them. My liver tends to get a lot of trapped bile and Carmen can see that during the colonic, amongst other things. She's more accurate and effective than any dr I've been to and she's also kind of psychic and someone I consider now a friend. Thank you, Carmen! Love you! Also it's near impossible to find a closed system colonic these days. Def better than open system. read more

SO grateful I found Carmen. I've been seeing her for about a year now, and she's truly become an essential part of my wellness routine. What started as a first-time visit turned into monthly sessions because the impact has been so life-changing for me. When I first came to her, I was dealing with serious digestive issues and even thought I might end up in the ER. Instead, I tried a series of colonics with Carmen, and it was the turning point I needed. After doing a weekly series for a few months, my health completely shifted. Now, by keeping monthly maintenance sessions, I've been able to stay feeling great and avoid those scary episodes altogether. (Not medical advice, just my personal experience!) Carmen is incredible at what she does. With almost 30 years of experience, she immediately put me at ease as a first-timer. The process is comfortable, the time actually flies by, and she creates such a safe, supportive environment. Beyond her expertise, what stands out most is how much she genuinely cares. She listens, she's never pushy, and she always wants what's best for you. Over time she's become more than a practitioner, she feels like a friend. Her space is in her home, and it's spotless, clean, and welcoming. You can tell she puts so much care into every detail. If you're curious about colon hydrotherapy or looking for someone who is both highly skilled and deeply compassionate, I cannot recommend Carmen enough. She's been such a gift in my life, and I'm so grateful to have found her! read more

Carmen is a gem. She was very kind and respectful. She took great care of me. Highly recommend.

Carmen is the absolute best. I had my first colonic with her, and wouldn't go anywhere else. She makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole process. She truly cares about all of her clients and their wellbeing! I'd highly recommend adding a colonic into your wellness regimen, and going to Carmen to get them! read more

Carmen has CHANGED MY LIFE!! This is the best experience I have ever had as far as colonics go and I will never ever go to anybody else! I have been seeing her for years and she is the sweetest and most caring person. Her space is very clean and comfortable during the whole process. I cannot recommend her more! This lovely enterprise deserves another 5 star review- my last review was in 2017! Been seeing Carmen ever since. She is wise, gentle, patient, thorough, and very caring. If you've been wondering if you need this service, or who to go to, wonder no longer. Blessings! read more

I am so glad to have found this place!!! Just a little background: I've had IBS-C for years now and it's been hard to have a normal BM without taking harsh laxatives. For the past few years I've been dependent on Laxatives on and off but beginning of January 2022, I started taking them nearly everyday. My body has a few ways of telling me something is very wrong-mainly through my skin. About a month and half ago it seemed as though the laxatives weren't working that well and my skin started to break out very bad... and I mean BAD! I was so embarrassed to go anywhere without a mask. I knew I needed to get help done from the inside... because a facial was not going to fix the acne I had (and I'm 31). I did a little research and came across two places. I got a colonic done from the first place and although they weren't bad I just was not as comfortable as Inner Balance. The second colonic was done here. My Likes: Inner Balance is very CLEAN, cozy, the instruments used are new, the bed was comfortable. Carmen is VERY professional! She's smart, knowledgeable, beautiful (inside and outside), you can tell that this isn't about the money-she truly wants to help! Shes patient. She communicated with me the whole time. She's honest and will give you lots of information on steps you need to take in order to be more healthy and regular. She has the cutest dogs: Leo and Vinny! (They are very friendly I promise). My outcome: I've had three colonics with Carmen so far and OMG!!! She recommended this natural vitamin that helps regulate BM's-I had my first painless BM for the first time in years two days after my colonic (w/Carmen) and I've had a BM nearly everyday (without any laxatives). I have wayyyy more energy. I sleep better. And my stomach is completely flat-I was 141Ibs now I'm 133 after three sessions (weight is the least of what I'm focused on but I wanted to put it out there for those who are focused on losing). Can we talk about my acne! I had over 15 cystic acne pimples. After the first colonic the pimples started opening up and cleared about 20%. After the second colonic I was about 50% clear. And I had my third colonic a few days ago and I'll just say I only have two very small active pimples on my face-which I can finally go outside without a mask! This is home based but the working area is just as professional as in-office areas I've been too. I was actually more comfortable here than any other places I've gotten colonics from. Think of it like this, about 50 years ago most people worked out of there homes. I didn't have to worry about parking and people being around. I'm one of those type of people that's too lazy to write reviews (and long ones at that) most of the time UNLESS they are great. This is THE place to go for a colonic! Give this place a try! You and your body will be happy and more healthy!!! 10/10 for sure! I'll post pics of my skin soon! If you're reading this Carmen, thank you sooo much for making my life better. You're AMAZING! read more

I am beyond thrilled to have found Carmen! My previous colonic place shut down during covid so I came to Yelp to find somewhere else to go. Thankfully I decided to try Carmen! She's a magical goddess who makes you feel so comfortable during the session and SO clean and empty after. I'm on my way back today for my second one. TMI but what went on when i saw Carmen was so much more cleansing than any of my previous ones it was NUTS. I was so toxic it was scary. There's no way you won't love her! read more

Carmen is a wonderful and caring practitioner with a world of knowledge about her vocation. This was my very first colonic so I was a bit nervous but Carmen explained everything and went very slow and allowed me to relax and feel comfortable! Her space was calming yet very clean and professional. I would highly recommend Carmen for everyone and I will definitely go back for maintenance appointments in the future! read more

I normally do not give negative reviews but things being as they are - here goes. Please be VERY careful with paying in advance for colonics appointments. I paid for 3. Only received one. Haven't wanted to make any more appointments. I requested for my money back - $180 - & crickets. Zero response. So I say this - be very careful with who you trust paying services for in advance. read more

Inner Balance recently opened up again after a temporary shutdown due to pandemic. The business is following strict health guidelines, including wearing a mask the entire session and washing your hands upon entry. Needless to say I feel safe there. I'm so glad to be able to go back and benefit from the amazing healing properties of colon hydrotherapy. I feel like Carmen also helps relieve a lot of stress during our sessions, and is always uplifting with her kindness and positivity. 5 stars. read more

Carmen is amazing. She made me and my partner very comfortable. The place was very clean and cozy. It was peaceful and relaxing. She was there from start to finish and was very personable and explained everything to us in detail. She treated you like a friend rather than just a client although we never met before. She got rid of the concerns and weirdness we had about the process by the way she talked and did the process. I've been converted from a customer to a fan :). read more

Carmen it's amazing, one of the best clinics I've ever had. I'd also like to address some of the negative reviews that she's been getting, these are absolutely not true. He's at work at one person who bought a nonrefundable series of colonics and then one of her money back after Carmen told her that a series is not refundable. These people are calling her racist but she was clearly not she's one of the most generous people I know. Two of the people who posted negative reviews have never even had a colonic from her, they are liars read more

Carmen is wonderful!!! She will quickly make you feel at ease and explain the process to you as she goes along. You will feel incredible just after the first time, but after a series it is astounding. I feel so much better...clearer skin, more energy, better digestion. I highly recommend therapy with Carmen. read more

I have been going to Carmen for about 3 years now. When I first started going in 2019, I had serious digestive & elimination issues due to poor diet & incredible stress. She was dedicated to helping me resolve them. Little by little things started to improve, but I just didn't seem to be able to really get over the hump. Then in early April 2022, I went in for a session. I have been to several other people for colonics but no one compares to Carmen. She could feel that something was stuck so she used her massage tool on me. All of a sudden, I felt a huge release. She said "Oh my God. I have never seen that come out of you before, that is mucoid plaque." That was a life changer for me. What had been causing my problems finally came out of me. That gave me the incentive to really clean up my diet as I felt so much better. Since that eventful day, I have lost 10 lbs. as my digestion & elimination are so much better. I have hit my target weight. Recently I went in for a physical and my blood work was better than it has been in years-cholesterol, blood sugar, etc. all great. I can't recommend Carmen enough. I would never go anywhere else again. Two thumbs way up. read more

Awesome. Couldn't of asked for a better holistic experience with this wonderful being. Definitely 100% recommended.

I am so impressed with Carmen's work. She is amazing at what she does, has years of experience and is very thoughtful and comfortable to work with. Most people are not excited about the thought of having a colonic, myself included, but it's good for overall health and for people who have digestive and weight issues. She is great about putting you at ease during the whole process and I can highly recommend her. read more

First of let me just express there's not enough positive words in the world for me to describe Carmen or the experience you have with what she does. I've gotten a colonics quite a few times years ago and became petrified my last one to the point I stopped going for years (traumatized I'd say). I have so many stomach issues and finally had to give in to giving colonics a shot again because i was in so much pain. I decided to be INCREDIBLY picky, so when I read up on Carmen I was instantly sold because every single review on here I know is sincere and truthful. Not to mention, my schedule is a nightmare to deal with and I was going through other health issues that were preventing from me scheduling a hard appt. For almost a month straight Carmen was so accommodating, understanding and patient with us trying to schedule. You can tell she genuinely cares about your well being when she does the process with you and she makes it so flawless you don't even realize what's going on in the moment because she's so comforting and makes you feel like you're just there with a friend chatting it up. She's incredibly knowledgeable and it shows. I had my appt yesterday and I woke up this morning feeling better than I've felt in a very long time, and that's with having some ways to go with her considering I have a lot going on in my tummy! On top of that my mood is so much more uplifted and radiant......I highly recommend going to Carmen for pretty much any and everything she offers because outside of her knowledge and talent with these things her energy is just positive and calming that being around her sets you in a very soothing place. After yesterday I can tell you I'd wait months to go to her before I ever went anywhere else for the services she has, and I'll never go anywhere else again for that matter. Just adore her! read more
