This place was recommended by a co-worker to my husband. He booked it for me so I could relax while he was at a conference in San Diego. WOW! it was one of the most unique and nourishing experiences. Ashley was very nice, professional and kind. Her facial massage left me feeling mesmerized. I loved how intentional the facial massage was, an amazing lymphatic drainage, and she helped release tension in my face. Also She massaged the inside of my mouth - first ever in my life! She released my jaw muscles that were very tense that I didn't even know I had. As someone who frequently experiences bloat and puffiness on my face, my face felt lifted and sculpted afterward. Unfortunately, I have not had a good experience and I am not a fan of writing one star reviews but I feel it is very important for me to get this out there so others can know my experience. I came across Mo's page on instagram and automatically fell in love with the holistic work she would share. Please know that I come here with total respect and still respect her as an esthetician but I am very sadden on how the customer service side of things were not really there. I placed a deposit in 2019 for a facial, I reschedule in a timely manner and one reason I reschedule was personal and the other was recovering from surgery. By the time my appointment came covid had hit so my appointment was cancelled by Heal Thy Goddess. I waited months until things got to normal while I recovered still from surgery but I never did and have actually developed chronic pelvic pain which prevents me from laying flat for long periods of time, this is when I approached Mo for a solution. My messages through instagram were answered but not in a timely manner, waited months in between and every time I asked for a solution it was simply not acknowledged, my last message was left on seen. If you were wondering why I didn't push for a response was because I understood she just had become a mom and she had expressed how busy she was running everything. Then after I tried emails, emails through her website, and calls (left a voice message) but they were never returned. Someone else on Yelp left a review stating she was going to be refunded half of the service but never followed through even after emailing her three times, so I am happy I am not the only one. Even if at the end of the day a deposit could not be transferable to her shop or refunded I would've appreciated a simple message letting me know that, but to not get a single response? It really left me confused. I never got to meet Mo in person but just from her instagram I felt like she had a great vibe and thought I would've received a response by now. read more

I had an unfortunate experience with Mo at "Heal Thy Goddess." The lymph node facial felt very robotic instead of personalized to my skin and lymphatic system. I actually ended up needing to see my masseuse two days later to finish what she started with my lymph nods (very disappointing). She also didn't give me any insights during the session nor any aftercare instructions. She did send an automated email 24 hours after my session with aftercare instructions, which was a bit absurd given the information was necessary before I left her presence. Furthermore, I expressed my dissatisfaction with her service and she promised me a partial refund. However, she did not refund me and instead ignored my three follow-up emails. This was very unprofessional. At $350 for a lymph node facial you are better off spending your money at Rancho Valencia or Estancia where not only will you pay less for a better experience but you will also get to use their spa facilities. read more

The spa's positive energy envelopes you as soon as you step inside, from the high ceilings, bright and airy decor and thoughtfully curated scent, you can't help but take a sigh of relief that you've come to the right place for some self-care! The service rooms are equally as uplifting, from the natural light, soft and cozy textures, and beautiful sound bowls - it is truly something special! I've been seeing Mo for over a year and will follow her wherever she goes because every single time I walk into her harmonious space I experience more than a facial! It's a full body experience of complete relaxation. I've followed Mo through the couple location changes she's had and I told her- "I will get a facial from you out of a dumpster!" It sounds funny, but there's just nothing like the work she does. I don't care where we are bc she takes me to another place anyway. I float into bliss during our sessions bc not only is she a holistic esthetician, she is also an energy worker, and has studied massage, Chinese medicine, herbs, planets, crystals and everything else. She can look at a slight wrinkle on your face and know how old you were when it appeared and why. She helps you release trapped emotions (which turn into disease if they stay in your body) through her facial massage. She massages your shoulders, feet, and stomach (if you're comfortable w it). I scheduled my appointment back in February and paid a deposit for a $200 lymphatic facial massage. My appointment was supposed to be for this afternoon and Mo texted me last night saying saying all prices went up to $350. She said something to the effect that the clients weren't seeing the emails so she wanted to make sure I saw it. I told her I only got an email about her move. She said it was in that email. I just found the email and this is what it says towards the bottom titled "Big News, Goddesses! We've officially moved." "Also a friendly reminder that our offerings have changed, please be sure to view our current list of offerings and new price changes here.". Nothing about this says that someone who has paid a deposit will have to pay a rate 75% higher than what they booked it for. She never apologized when I expressed my concerns about this poor business decisions to bait and switch her customers. I also made sure I didn't plan anything for this holiday week since 7/1 was the only date she had available back in February when I booked for new clients. And also had taken PTO for today to make the appointment. I I tried to explain that this isn't how you run an ethical business practice, but it was my fault for not seeing the email that was very vague and poorly worded. The least she should have done if she wasn't going to honor the rate was to give everyone a courtesy call a month ago to be sure everyone was aware. Absolutely amazing!!! I am so grateful to have found Heal Thy Goddess. Mo is a miracle worker and the space is so inviting and tranquil- instantly felt relaxed. I opted for the anti-gravity facial and I felt and saw immediate results. I will be going back for the series. Lymphatic drainage from the facial massage makes a tremendous difference in helping de-puff the face. Mo's facials are seriously life changing. I had facial surgery in January and I knew before surgery I had to see mo. I was prepared and scheduled a monthly facial with every month after surgery to help with lymphatic drainage. The moment I walked into Mo's space, my anxiety and stress left my body. I booked an 80 minute lymphatic drainage massage and it was the best 80 minutes I have had in a long time. It was so relaxing I think I fell asleep several times. I carry a lot of water in my face and after my treatment with Mo, I seriously couldn't believe how chiseled my face and neck looked! She took all the puff away! It was crazy! I've had lymphatic drainage massage several times by other practitioners but never have I had this type of experience. I wish I didn't live so far from her office. Otherwise I would see her at least once a week! I just got the BEST organic facial by Mo! I have been following her for years and am so happy she opened her own place. She has such an amazing touch, and makes my facials vegan for me. I have had two facials now with Mo, and all I can say is WOW - I'm never going to anyone else. As soon as you enter her space a feeling calmness and relaxation sets in.
