When she went over there to ask for her money back, they called her a liar and refused to refund her money. Then we went over theretogether and told them that she was very upset and wanted her money back. Kristi was the rudest person I have ever met and claimed that she had no reason to give her money back and continually called my friend a liar. Eventually my friend did get her money back for the shotty dye job, but a few minutes after that I received a call at my place of employment asking to speak to the manager. They were actually trying to complain to my boss about "causing a scene". Well the whole situation could have been avoided if they had done what was right and refunded her money and apologized. Calling someone at work the threaten them is pathetic.

Go see Haley. She is amazing…read more I have horrible curly hair and since I moved from another a state and lost my stylist, I have not had a haircut I have liked in almost 10 years. My boss goes here and recommended I try it. Haley was awesome! The color I came in with was not what I had wanted and I hated my hair all around. She fixed the color, and cut my hair perfectly. I love love love the way my hair looks. The color is amazing, and the way she cut my hair gave it a great look and brought a lot of my curl back. They are nice and springy again. - Plus the price was very very reasonable. Will definitely be back!

For the BEST and most amazingly gorgeous hair, Serendipity Salon is my #1 choice on the Northshore!…read moreIt's certainly no surprise that Serendipity Salon has been voted as the Northshore's best salon 4 years in a row! All of the staff here are close knit like family, welcoming clients with their lovely charm and smiles. They even offer beverages to each client upon arrival. You'll feel happy, friendly, positive and warm vibes in a relaxed atmosphere. Whatever doubts I had initially about trying a new salon dissipated, because I felt comfortable interacting with the staff, as if I were right at home. Upon meeting and consulting with Thomas for my hair cut, I felt confident enough to trust my precious hair in his talented hands. He was very knowledgeable and gave me thorough explanations of all my questions. I can't thank him enough for making me feel like a princess with the absolute BESTTT hair ever! It's only been 2 days since my hair cut, and I am already looking forward to my next hair appointment!!! Everyone here is hard working and passionate about what they do and you can tell how much they love their jobs and their clientele. You can easily call to make an appointment and sweet Cameron at reception will take the time to help you! A courtesy reminder text message is sent prior to your hair appointment, which you can then confirm or call back for changes. No appointment is ever rushed and each stylist takes the time to listen and be attentive to their client's needs. As a client, you will both feel and look beautiful after leaving the salon. Be sure to make Serendipity Salon your #1 most favorite hair salon!!! (In case you wanted to achieve that salon look at home, you can purchase hair product lines from Unite and Kevin Murphy there. I am a huge fan of the magical holy grail Unite 7 secs detangler/leave-in conditioner and I highly recommend it!)

I used to really enjoy going here, getting pampered, and leaving feeling like a million dollars…read more The last few months though, have had me in tears. Ever since their big move to the new location, they changed their hair color product from Kevin Murphy to Davines. Previously, I have always had a very consistent and beautiful light brunette color with highlights. With the change in product though, my hair ended up a horrible red color and ended up making my hair looking brassy. I was not happy with this at all, and went back in to get it fixed (TWICE). Each time, I felt like they were experimenting on my color, and basically applying the "band-aid" treatment and just throwing more different colors on. Each time I went in, it ended up looking worse and worse, to the point where my hair was splotchy, uneven, and almost looking like camouflage. The repeated coloring also left my hair damaged, and broken in several places. I've also always had bangs that don't really change, until recently when they were cut unevenly and ended up almost looking like I had layers in my bangs. Like I said, I used to really enjoy coming here. Recently though, it has begun to feel very impersonal. I know that it is common in some salons to double book clients, but it is still frustrating. I sit down, and I feel like my service is so rushed just so that another client can start their service at the same time, with the same stylist, as me. Again, I know that it is somewhat of a common practice, but it just makes me feel like my time isn't valuable. I see so many pics of women on their social media pages showing their gorgeous results. Meanwhile, I'm over here in tears.
