Stancey is amazing! I have been going to Stancey for over 7 years and she's the only person I trust to touch my hair. I have a LOT of hair and she seems to be the only person who can handle it in less than 2 hours so I'm not sitting in a salon all day. She has been highlighting my hair for at least 5 years, and we recently decided to dye my hair my natural color because I am moving out of town and I don't trust anyone else to do my highlights in a reasonable amount of time for an EXTREMELY reasonable price. Went to Stancy Monahan located at Head West Salon at the recommendation of a friend who has great hair and color and I was thrilled with the way Stancy listened to my color and cut needs. I had a strawberry blonde and wanted to go to a natural dirty blonde and she gave me a color that was akin to the look I had when 10 years old at the beach...just the perfect sun kissed blonde. I have extremely thick hair that other stylists have often complained about being too heavy on their hands, but Stancy loved how thick it was and worked my hair like a pro. I left feeling gorgeous and a guy even stopped me on the street complimenting my hair and asking about whether he could do head shots. Head West is one of the nicest, friendliest Salons in Santa Barbara. Leslie Mann is a wonderful stylist and as sweet and genuine as they come. Peggy-Jo is also sweet, but I have only gotten my hair done by Leslie. Leslie really listens to you when you have a request about how and what you want done. She also suggests good things to do with my hair. She is never pushy or insistent about what she would like to do. Leslie is a real gem. The prices are very reasonable.
