I didn't hesitate to wait outside patiently. The people getting massaged looked like they were in heaven! When my turn came, I understood why. I was lucky to get the guy I had eyed, Andy. He blew my mind. His massage was the most painful one I've ever received in the best way! Cause I was feeling brand new hours later. I filled out the form and the doctor saw me right away. He did a 3-5 minute assessment of my shoulder issue and then had me lay on the table and proceeded to do acupuncture, which is not what I came in for. I decided to let it go and he put a bunch of needles in my shoulder and neck. Then had me roll over and did the same to the front. I will say that I my frozen shoulder did feel 50% better BUT he kept mentioning that he recommended me to take herbs to help for 5 weeks at 70 GBP per week. I declined. Then when I went to leave another person was at the counter with a bunch of herbs already bagged up told me the same that the doctor recommended the herbs for 5 weeks. I said no, and he said that there is a discount so the 5 weeks would cost 50 GBP per (250 GBP) I declined and as I went to leave he told me that the 55 GBP was for the consultation and that the acupuncture was 90 GBP. In the past month I've had acupuncture done in New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco . This was more expensive than ANY of these cities. I think that the doctor was good, but the practices of the office leaves much to be desired. None of the other acupuncture places that I went to ever suggested herbs for the muscles in my shoulder. One sold me a muscle balm, which makes more sense. Beware

Simon has been treating me for about 3-4 months. He is punctual and always confirms appointments…read more He immediately puts you at ease. I'd not had a shiatsu massage before meeting him. The treatment is gentle but effective. It is not a deep tissue massage but a clothed one on specific points. Simon explains how the diagnostics are done on an arm at the start of the treatment in addiition to the information that you have given him at the outset. (I could of course be wrong here, as i was dozing). The treatment is relaxing and i usually drift off to sleep and it doesn't bother him if i snore! His charges are very reasonable and i have never felt that i am being fitted in to a given time-slot which often happens with therapits. He has a kind and gentle manner combined with a confident air that inspires trust. I have found that i have bennefitted from the teartments that i have had and always look forward to my next one. If he is treating you in your own home, he brings a thin matress which is laid on the floor for the treatment and all you need to provide is a pillow. I cannot recommend Simon enough, as he is professional and truly seems interested in his clients well-being than just doing another treatment for the cash being paid.

My massage could have been better because my therapist had to take a couple of phone calls from a client who was on his way and needed to know about parking. Although she apologized for talking on her phone, texting, and even going out of the room for a bit and also stayed a little over to finish my massage in the hour, it was still kind of annoying.
