We saw that this place had pretty good ratings and that you can schedule an appointment via text message or phone call on WhatsApp. So we decided to try this place and texting them an appointment request took just 2-3 messages. We arrived there and were greeted by our massage therapists. They were very nice. However it seems like the massage can be hit or miss. While I liked my massage, my partner thought his was just okay. My massage could have been better because my therapist had to take a couple of phone calls from a client who was on his way and needed to know about parking. Although she apologized for talking on her phone, texting, and even going out of the room for a bit and also stayed a little over to finish my massage in the hour, it was still kind of annoying. I suffer from chronic neck and back pain. I called quite a few massage parlors yesterday and was able to get in here quickly and at a time that was convenient to me. I've had so many massages due to my issues so I can tell immediately when someone understands the human body. My masseuse did not disappoint. All of the 5 star reviews are from centuries ago, I agree with the other low review from my most recent experiences. We booked 3 ppl for 8:30pm as we were coming from a dinner. The receptionist insisted 8pm, I said fine but we are going to be late. She texts me when it was 8pm to remind me again but I knew very well we would run behind which was why I WANTED 8:30! We end up arriving around 8:05pm to accommodate THEM. That's fine. When we arrived, they looked at us with this impolite look of: what a bunch of silly tourists. You could FEEL their reproach and the eye rolling when I explained to them we wanted different services. So frustrating. Don't spend your hard earned money here. If I can give this place more stars, I would. My friend and I came here after our second day of visiting the UK. We were absolutely exhausted from traveling and sightseeing all day, so we decided to find a place to get a nice massage. As soon as we got there, we were shortly greeted by a warm, welcoming lady. She was very sweet & made us feel right at home. She told us she was fully booked until 5:30 and it was about 3 at the time so we had a lot of time to kill. We asked if it was ok to stay inside. The lady really went above and beyond and offered to let us rest on the couch in her back room. She even gave me a charger to charge my phone! I was so touched by her hospitality. Eventually it was time for my massage. Another younger lady came into the back room and was surprised by our presence there lol. She asked us who we were and I told her I had a massage. She was so friendly and nice and she took me into one of the rooms to commence the massage. She was so attentive and always kept making sure if the pressure was okay (it was pretty hard and to be honest I struggled at times). She even answered a bunch of questions I had to help me better understand my body and my needs! After my massage, it was my friend's turn. I felt so relaxed that I went back to the couch to take a nap. I laid down and dosed off, only to be woken up again by the same lady who greeted us, as I saw her cover me with a blanket. It was so sweet and it reminded me of my mom back home. It was the best decision ever to stop by this place. I am so glad that I discovered this massage parlor and these amazing people. And despite the intensity of my deep tissue massage, I felt completely refreshed and ready to complete another walkathon. I highly recommend everyone to check this place out. Even though we only have about 2-3 more days left in London, we are definitely considering going back into this area just to revisit! When you first book make sure you booked through the system. When I arrived there was a little confusing on how I booked. I did it from WhatsApp no fault to these lovely ladies. When we arrived yes it was small I can honestly say the best massage you could ever get. My sister was complaining that a stiff neck so as a birthday present I treated her to a proper massage parlour. After the the hour she could move her neck freely. This is quite intense but worth it if you have problems with stiffness with your back etc...the lady I had her name is Polly. Lovely lady I couldn't recommend her enough. Best London, and massage I have ever had in my entire life. I'm usually the best at massages lol these ladies have the strongest hands. Whatever they are doing to hit all the muscles and pain spots were magical. This is one of the best massages I've had and definitely the best Thai massage. You have to be very careful where you go, considering I had a Thai massage in Los Angeles where someone stepped on my back and I was laid up in bed with a rib injury. On top of the AWESOME massage, I left a Garmin watch and the owner went into the salon early to check for it, then offered to bring it to my hotel. She refused to take any tip for this. Just went for the 1st time after finding them on yelp and I really enjoyed the massage. I got there a bit early and was greeted right away by my masseuse (you have to go into the barbers and down the stairs to the left btw, the guys upstairs will show you). What I liked most was that she kept checking in with me throughout and that she went hard from the beginning. I was pretty stiff from working out plus general wear and tear and the only way to get in there is to have a 'deep tissue massage'. Since I'm not a fan of 'relaxation massages' this was great for me, although I'm sure they'd adjust to your preference. Throughout the hour, she kept checking in to see if she was spending enough time in a specific body part and also asked me if i wanted a foot massage, whether I was easy to turn, etc. I also mentioned that my previous Thai masseuse, who was amazing would crack my back at the end, she told me some people were scared of this but she'd be happy to do it too. I, too, received a first class massage from Wan. The setting is professional and her work is excellent. I received a "traditional" Thai massage, by London standards, at least. This simply means that elsewhere in the world a traditional Thai massage is given on mats on the floor and involves a great deal more interactive stretching. Here, while more stretching techniques are used than in other massage places, there seems to be more traditional rubbing and use of oil. A friend and I came on a whim one weekend evening. We called a little before 8 pm and they were able to fit us in. I've had a good number of massages in my day and have to say this ranked up there among top 10. I went with the Swedish massage but it seemed my masseuse added some Thai technique. At one point she was actually straddling me on top of the table to get more pressure into my back. (Sounds kinky but was preferably above board). The rooms aren't overly fancy but it was a clean and relaxing atmosphere. Certainly nicer than the original hole-in-the wall Chinatown place we were originally going to. No showers, though, that I saw. Also £45/hr (with Yelp first time customer promo) is a pretty decent price especially for the skill. The massage rooms are in the basement of a men's hair salon so don't get confused if you don't see it right away. read more
