Foot massage started off in the communal room on the street level in an IKEA-like lounge chair. My therapist wore a pair of loose vinyl glove for each leg that ripped as soon as he started the strong massage. My therapist was very strong and spent the entire hour massaging my foot, leg, and thighs, all while fully clothed in an open communal room. The photos people have posted are accurate. Seems to be a popular spot, for good reason! When I got to Step In the woman at the door said 30 min wait and let me sit on a chair inside to wait. About 10-15 mins later they were ready for me which was a pleasant surprise! I did half reflexology and half body massage. For the body massage she took me downstairs to a small room with 3 massage tables. There are dividers between each table and everyone has their clothes on. I cannot speak more highly about my experience at Step In Reflexology. I even told my hotel concierge about it. (But again - if you like zen garden /music/aromatherapy kind of massages only this isn't for you.) This place is for someone who just wants some good bodywork - asap. My skin has been super dry and dull lately, plus I got a terrible night of sleep on the plane, so I was beyond glad Chi Yu was able to take me as a walk in. Noriko was so sweet and friendly, as was the lady who checked me in at the front (I didn't get her name). The facility is clean and cozy, offering tea or water when you arrive. The facial with products includes eminence products which all smelled and felt incredible. They also specialize in Japanese Cosmo Lifting Massages and Noriko integrated some of that into my facial, which was great and something new for me. The facial was so relaxing I'm pretty sure I fell asleep. I'll definitely make this my spot whenever I'm in London!

I asked her multiple times but she stood there and started speaking loudly in her native language (Romanian). I was disappointed and started wearing my clothes, when I was wearing my shoes she literally cracked her hands on my neck from back, as I was processing this, she slapped my face. I told all this on reception and she said whatever happened in the room is between you and her. Thought to call the police but left. She was Romanian and she told her name was starting with M.

The technicians are just SO VERY GOOD at what they do - I spent the next two days in a row for 2 separate I 90 minute foot massages. Given that I hadn't reported any particular problem that he should focus on, Mario gave me a general foot massage that was indeed very pleasant and soothing...I drifted away into la-la-land and almost fell asleep. Second time, I went to see Mario at his Central London practice on Harley Street. Once again, I didn't have any real problem, but I had enjoyed the previous massage and decided to "go for it" again. This time though, I asked Mario to be less gently and apply more pressure. This was a good choice and when I walked away from my appointment, I almost felt like I had worked out myself...I experienced that kind of gratifying feeling you have after a firm work-out at the gym ;-) After the second appointment, Mario mentioned that he had sensed a few tense areas in my body and just wanted to make sure that I wasn't experiencing major problems there. It looks like he was sensing this right, as indeed some of the areas were giving me a little trouble. Overall, I can very much recommend Mario's service. What I especially liked, was the sense of excellent customer service: I received various notifications, reminding me of my appointment with him. I also tremendously liked the payment-flow, which was as easy as I've never experienced before.
