I reached out to this dealership and stopped on site in person to see if they could purchase a truck at auction or keep my contact for a work truck. I never got a call back even when they got a few trucks in that fit all my criteria. Pricing was too high and they never reached out so I purchased a 2019 ford transit from another dealership that was responsive to my communication. A year later stopped at the Royal Oak dealer again.....local to mybusiness in Royal Oak....and figured I would try again. This time the dealer had 4 to 5 options that fit my work truck needs. I got a bunch of information on the work trucks for mileage and pricing.....ALL of which turned out to be BS and the kid was just trying to sell me over sticker...!!!! I even told the kid I was in auto sales for years before starting my own company but his still provided pricing that was 3-5,000 above what they ended up listing the vehicles as. Of course because the prices were crazy high again I passed again. i then went to their website and found the truck I was told was listing at 23,000- 24,000 listed online for 19,900. I felt dooped...! Then I stopped in to see that same salesman and the dealership was late to open. Then I came back a couple hours later and the dealer still not open on time. When I finally got ahold of that salesman he gave me more BS on why he couldn't close a dealer and offer me ANY discount on the out the door pricing. I made an offer to trade in my vehicle to upgrade and asked for 1500$ off the total deal.....he wouldn't take ANYthing off to earn my business and then started insulting me on the phone. After being insulted by the B- lot dealer salesman and having a very successful auto-sales career in my past I had had enough and reauested to speak to the owner. That sales rep said he runs the dealer and the owner has bo knowledge of his or other salesman activity. No call backs, providing incorrect pricing and mileage on interested vehicles, Insulting customer, and neglecting to work out or offer any kind of deal.....in sure the owner SHOULD want to hear about it. If not.....that sad. After insisting the owner reach out I also contacted another sales rep via facebook about the insults and argument. I was met with a message to not come back to the dealer. So ultimately after asking two reps to have the owner reach out I still got BS. Worst attitudes and business experience ever....and I run a business and deal with customers on the daily. I waited 2- weeks to hear back or get an apology before writing a negative review. I still haven't purchased a truck but don't feel like I'm missing anything by not doing business with this dealer. read more

Worst car dealership ever!!!! My mom is a handicapped woman and they sold her a car that was rusted out underneath. She just recently went to get tires on it after only having it for 5 months and they advised her to get rid of it due to the bolts underneath being a safety hazard and will more than likely cause the car to crash soon. They were originally suppose to order caps for her tires due to the ones on the car being from another model and never did and she overlooked that. It should of been a red flag tho. Please save yourself the time and don't shop here. My mother did not, she is now stuck with a car that's rusted out and unable to drive due to safety. read more

Just bought a 2015 Colorado in December and in ONE MONTH of ownership have a laundry list of repairs (front passenger sway bar MISSING, passenger AIRBAG needs servicing, TRANSMISSION LEAK + more!) that have had to be done...don't even have the title to it yet so can't even re-sell it or trade it in!!! This piece of crap has caused more stress than previous car traded in. We were taken full advantage of! **Lesson learned to review these Yelp reviews in the future!! Typical used car salesman. They are very very condescending whoever runs they're Facebook ignored all my messages and then messages me when the car was sold and when I told them my frustrations the person running the Facebook told me I was cranky and should take a nap. I have never bought from here but I have interacted with they're employees and they are not nice. They do not care about getting you into a good ride they're simply pushing you out the way for people who say they have more money. Got excited about an 07 fj cruiser. Drove an hour to see it. Car is rusted to he double hockey sticks and they used great stuff foam to replace a bushing on a link that stabilized the axle. Huge safety risk. Don't buy without getting an inspection it could be your life taken in a ditch. read more

Absolutely HORRIBLE service. They were extremely rude, their bathroom was dirty and was told to "use at my own risk". They knew nothing about the car much less what was wrong with it, and didn't even try to sell it to me and told me it's not going to be perfect. Purchased a car from Haeven, he told us that his vehicles were checked out and they used many different mechanics. In the first 3 months of ownership, we have had to replace the transmission, the battery, the pads and rotors, the throttle body and the struts. The air conditioning was also defective. We have had to put almost $3000 just to make it safe to drive. Before you purchase a car here, I'll be happy to show you our repair receipts. I don't want to see anybody else get taken. I recently purchased a vehicle this year in February, it is now 6 months later and I have a blown head gasket, and this is after already replacing the coolant line and reattaching the muffler twice. The vehicle is so rusted on the entire underneath that there is nothing to weld the dropping engine mount to. But no worries as I said the engine is now blown anyways. I realize purchased "as is" but the manager tells me that the guys they outsource to usually check these things out first. "These Guys" apparently do not have 20/20 vision or are just not very good at their job. Oh!! And another little ditty...when I went to buy the car they accidentally put it in my mothers name who was with me with the cash. So it took me two times at the Secretary of State to figure this out and finally my mom had to go and finish the paperwork for my car... So I guess if you're going to HC Motors to purchase a vehicle they are very pleasant but you might for sure take the time to get a mechanic who is good at his job because the "team" that buys for HC Motors is not. And the sales staff is not that great with the paperwork either. But basically for $3913.84 I got an SUV that looked great and drove for 6 months. Literally almost to the day!! Purchased on 2/23/19 Died on 8/28/19. RIP read more

Buyers Beware!!! And DO NOT BUY the warranty! We had an awful experience. We purchased a 2006 Chevy Cobalt and purchased the extra warranty Haeven had to offer. He offered to split the cost of the warranty with us. How sweet, right? Well within 4 hours of us owning the car, which consisted of a drive home and a drive to the gym, the car overheated. We immediately contacted the dealership, they told us to take it to our mechanic and have him use the warranty we had purchased as anything that was wrong with it should be covered. Our mechanic called on it right away and found out that the warranty was useless because of a pre-existing condition? What..How can that be. We took it to our mechanic and he went through all the possibilities. He finally concluded it was the head gasket. Haeven gave us $300 for our trouble. The fix was $1400. Within a couple hours of getting it back from our mechanic, it overheated again. We spoke to Haeven and said you really need to make this right. His answer was bring it to his mechanic, because ours must be an idiot. Took to his mechanic and he replaced the water pump. To the tune of another $580. He assured us that his mechanic would be able to get the warranty company to cover it, because it was not a pre-existing condition. Nope, our son put out another $580 to get this repair done. And it ran great while we were at his facility, within a couple more days it won't blow heat. So now we are in over $2000 for a $4000 vehicle and this dealership did NOTHING to fix the issue. I have read all the other reviews here, and although Haeven seems like a very nice person, he is a swindler and has taken advantage of an 18 year old kid. We have repeatedly tried to let him make it right and he has given us all the right lines, but done nothing to actually remedy the situation. The last time we saw him after his mechanic worked on the vehicle, he told us that this was it and that he could do no more. He told us the owner of the dealership was very upset with him but after researching this facility there is only 2 employees and HC motors is the name with Haeven C. as the initials of the manager. I believe he owns this business and just doesn't want to take this lemon back into his inventory. read more
