I was waiting at the light near Brighton…read moreand Colvin, heading towards the grocery store to return bottles and shop when I saw the business and decided to stop in. I am so glad that I did! This place is amazing. Forget the dirty, messy machines that constantly jam up and reject bottles at the grocery store. Forget going to other places of business and sorting your own bottles on the counter for return. Bottle Junction is an entirely different world! (How did I not know that this exists prior to this weekend?!) When you walk in, you're greeted by friendly staff who not only ask how your day is, but also offer to help unload totes and bags of bottles from your car. They also help you load them up on the counter in the store. Once everything is on the counter, they do all of the sorting for you! You just stand back, watch the magic happen, and wait until it's time to collect your refund. Easy peasy! I'm a huge fan of Bottle Junction and look forward to returning for all of my future bottle return needs. I hope that you'll also try it out and help keep this amazing local business up and running!

I've been here twice and both times the employee I interacted with was friendly and helpful…read more How it works: There are two machines, one takes plastic and cans, the other takes plastic, cans and glass. The machines allow you to dump recyclables in which is nice, but every time I've been, there's been a line of people with a gazillion recyclables. The machines aren't perfect either, and sometimes they reject things that are worth 5 cents so you have to bring those to get manually counted. There's also people who try to recycle things that obviously don't have a deposit (milk jugs, Gatorade bottles), so this also slows down the line. Tip: I recommend bringing someone with you to help unload your car and load the machines because there are no carts.

Very rarely would I associate a bottle and can redemption with cleanliness, efficiency, and…read morewonderful customer service, but Bud's Bottle Barn has all of that and more. You can't miss this place! Located in Depew, it boasts a barn-like facade and a sizeable parking lot. Lots of spaces up front so taking your bottles and cans in is made even easier. Inside, it's eclectically decorated and full of fun knick-knacks, so you'll have plenty to look at while you wait. And the most surprising thing: it is pristinely clean! No nasty smells or gross sights. The employees here are top-notch, too. They are very kind and accommodating -- if you need any help bringing your cans in, they'll give you a hand. And they're super fast-moving as well. I could never keep the numbers straight in my head, so I give them props for being so good at mental math! If you find yourself with a bunch of bottles and cans to trade in for some nice cash, I'd highly suggest coming to Bud's Bottle Barn. You can't beat the service!

They make it very easy. This is so much more convenient than the machines at the grocery stores! It does have that strong stale-beer smell but that is probably inevitable, and it feels pretty clean inside and is well-lit. The parking lot is small and not well marked (I'm not sure where the spaces are intended to be?) but easy to access.

It smells clean inside, which is a big time switch from anywhere I've ever returned my empty bottles & cans. The owner was very nice . It only took about 2 minutes to count out all of my empties & give me the $$. This definitely beats going to Tops & waiting in the vestibule for an hour, waiting for a machine to open up, since that old man is there with his 2 shopping carts full of empties, meanwhile 3 machines aren't even working & by the time you finally make to the machine, it's FULL & u have to wait 20 minutes to get an employee to empty it. Nevermind all the bees in those things in the summertime. I'll pass ! From now on, I'm coming here.
