Employee sorts and counts them. You get a nickel each. So easy. And if you are in a hurry, as I am on occasion, there is usually another patron there you can give your bottles to if you want. They make it very easy. This is so much more convenient than the machines at the grocery stores! It does have that strong stale-beer smell but that is probably inevitable, and it feels pretty clean inside and is well-lit. The parking lot is small and not well marked (I'm not sure where the spaces are intended to be?) but easy to access.

It smells clean inside, which is a big time switch from anywhere I've ever returned my empty bottles & cans. The owner was very nice . It only took about 2 minutes to count out all of my empties & give me the $$. This definitely beats going to Tops & waiting in the vestibule for an hour, waiting for a machine to open up, since that old man is there with his 2 shopping carts full of empties, meanwhile 3 machines aren't even working & by the time you finally make to the machine, it's FULL & u have to wait 20 minutes to get an employee to empty it. Nevermind all the bees in those things in the summertime. I'll pass ! From now on, I'm coming here.

This place is amazing. Forget the dirty, messy machines that constantly jam up and reject bottles at the grocery store. Forget going to other places of business and sorting your own bottles on the counter for return. Bottle Junction is an entirely different world! (How did I not know that this exists prior to this weekend?!) When you walk in, you're greeted by friendly staff who not only ask how your day is, but also offer to help unload totes and bags of bottles from your car. They also help you load them up on the counter in the store. Once everything is on the counter, they do all of the sorting for you! You just stand back, watch the magic happen, and wait until it's time to collect your refund. Easy peasy! I'm a huge fan of Bottle Junction and look forward to returning for all of my future bottle return needs. I hope that you'll also try it out and help keep this amazing local business up and running!

This time I had LOTS so I thought I'd give it a try. This business is unusual in that the business operates out of the building's side entrance. Parking is adequate, especially since the turn over rate here is surprising. I was met at the door by two very friendly employees who explained how this system works. They do everything. Just hand them the bags and stand back. The system operates so quickly that I was just barely able to keep up bringing bags in. The system is totally automated. Once the workers empty the bags into the sorting area everything is automatic. It's really amazing to watch as the bottles and cans are arranged and processed to a conveyor belt that takes them away. Everything is counted by computer. When finished, you're given a ticket that you take to a window where you are paid. Start to finish, 779 bottles and cans were processed in 6 minutes including getting paid I will never go anywhere else again.
