KatyGT is the third preschool we sent our daughter in and it's the best. the teachers are very thoughtful and full of love. my daughter was born in pandemic time, so she rarely contact with people. when she was 3 years old this year, we decided to send her to preschool, at first we send her to a big chain daycare close to our house, but she kept crying and crying .one day we observed outside the playground, we found she was almost crying out of control and nobody comforted her. the teachers just gossiped each other. Then we send her to another daycare, she also very nervous and anxious...... When we sent her to GT for the first day, she even didn't cry. Ms Min hold her for a long time and she hold her hand all the time. all the teachers there show their love to her. They even help her make good friend in her class. she didn't feel lonely and feels love around her. It's about one month since we send her to GT, Now she is excited to go to school everyday. she says she loves all the teachers there and all the teachers love her. it's the best decision we have made to send her to GT. the teachers is full of love, they pay attention to every kids. By the way, the curriculum being taught is very advanced, I had thought she's too young to learn, but to my surprise, she can count to 10 and she can trace the letters now.

The curriculum being taught is very advanced as my son, a 4 year old can tell you all about the continents, different countries within the continents and special characteristics about those different countries. He is also able to read easy reader books and do basic math. Overall Katy GT has exceeded our expectations. When our son transitions to Kindergarten we'll continue to send him to Katy GT for afterschool programs and summer camps. Ms. Mary and her amazing teachers run a very well thoughtout program which we're proud to send our son to.

The administration is professional and were very compassionate about the transition time for our son. The owners are very present and have been incredibly receptive to feedback, with a clear care for the children and teachers at the heart of their decisions. Lastly, the school does a fantastic job of creating opportunities for meeting other parents through events. We're a fan of the technology used to keep us in the loop with daily reports and cameras so we can check in during the day. Another note, though seems silly - they have an awesome sanitizer for all toys and the kids' nap time blankets, etc so everything stays super clean and saves me a little time too. On our first day, she individually greeted each new family and from my understanding there were over 20 new families that day, due to school being out for summer. That is quite impressive and so kind of her. It was our baby's first day and I was very sad; she was so kind and comforting. The teachers in the infant room truly are amazing. They are so accommodating to each child's need. It is very evident that they have a lot of experience with babies and often give good advice. My child clearly loves his teachers and smiles each day he sees them. I am confident each day that my little one is in great hands. The school director is also wonderful as well. This daycare has cameras to log in and check on your little one and the teachers often send pictures of the kids through an app. I couldn't recommend this daycare more.

The teacher was sitting at a desk in the middle of the room. Children were running everywhere. As I stood in the window, I saw a female student assaulting her. My daughter was lying face down on a matt, the other child was on top of my daughter with her pants down to her thighs, her entire bottom was exposed. Ther perpetrator had placed her index finger into my daughter's Anus. I immediately withdrew my daughter and contacted law enforcement officials. The acting principle spoke to my daughter, and she confirmed the girls' actions. After speaking with my daughter privately she also confirmed that this has happened on numerous occasions.

I heard about so many children getting behind and I never felt like we were in that boat. I write this with tears in my eyes as our Primrose journey is coming to an end with our youngest attending elementary in the fall. When my older daughter was two I knew she needed to transition from a private nanny to a school environment. I did my research; I checked out every "outstanding" preschool in the Katy area! I wanted a school that REALLY CARED about my daughter, met my ridiculously high cleanliest/hygienic standards, provided healthy foods (I have a degree in Dietetics), and provided outstanding academic curriculum. Most importantly, I wanted a school that would be an extension of "home" for her. Primrose was the soft place we landed and it was the best decision for our family. My oldest daughter started in Preschool A and attended through the Explorers program (3rd grade). My youngest started at 8 weeks old in the infant room and just completed her Kindergarten year at the Kelliwood location. I am in awe of how much my daughters grew in their time there. Primrose is certainly a leader in early education with their curriculum extending far beyond ABC's and numbers. The children learn essential life skills, critical thinking, social skills, good manners, how to be good citizens of the world, ways to be healthy, and get to experience frequent hands-on-learning field trips (Pre-K and older), etc. Both of my girls are/were more than prepared for elementary school. My oldest transitioned into the GT program in elementary and my youngest is leaving Primrose Kindergarten on a 1st grade level for math and reading. And while academics are important, it's really the staff that has made our time there such a sweet experience. The teachers and administration truly care about each student. They are vibrant and fun, they love on the kids, they come up with creative and fun learning activities and are always throwing a party for something! It is truly a family atmosphere. When COVID-19 began and students started online learning, Ms. Klein (Kinder teacher) and the staff created a seamless transition. I was impressed by their creativity in finding different and fun ways to engage with the kids as if they were in the classroom!
