Dr. Durham's assistant, Claire was awesome! She was very thorough with explaining the steps of getting my braces on and she made me feel at ease throughout the process. Dr. Durham himself was very personable and efficient as he rotated to/from each patient. Out of 5 consultations in the area, Dr. Durham and his staff had me at "Hello". From the staff in the front end to the staff in the back end, the hospitality and professionalism remained consistent. After completing my consultation, I called back a day or two after to schedule my initial treatment. *They provide you with an electric toothbrush, t-shirt and some other goodies after completing your initial treatment. Also, there's no additional charge for adults to have clear braces. They also have a reward program that I'm SUPER stoked about. The program allows you accumulate points and redeem for gift cards. I gave them the tooth number and they gave me prices for the root canal and crown. We go in today and they tell us they can't do his root canal and gave him a prescription for an antibiotic. So we wasted $73 on a visit to receive information we already knew and $10 gas to travel there. If he wanted an antibiotic he would have just went back to the previous dentist!!! They knew the tooth number so it wasn't like they didn't know it was a molar!

Dr M was great. I had several issues with the office staff though. Fees they never told me about,…read moregiving me bad information, billing errors, etc. The cherry on top was this: I lost my job and had to go on Medicaid which they don't take. (Initially I was told they did, then later on they said they did not.) They referred me somewhere else (which turned out to be less quality care.) I was told when we got our insurance back we could return. Finally when I got my kids back on their previous insurance, they wouldn't take me back. At first, they said "they just aren't taking previous patients back." I asked if they could make an exception due to my child's serious dental issues (and the extensive work Dr M had done, which was now being ruined by another dentist.) I was placed on hold, when another staff member picked up and said the real reason was actually because I had allegedly hung up on them once, several years ago. This is what I'm talking about when I say the staff gives bad information. Which is it- do you no longer take previous patients, or are you holding a grudge because you think I hung up on you years ago? Either way- putting your pride before the needs of a small child is awful behavior. Dr Moffatt cares about his patients but the staff does not.

Clearly the failure was their recent expensive work and they did not want to take responsability. The same happened when I asked why my bill was 3x the estimate. Could not get a straight answer. The people are nice. The office is clean and orderly. Dr. Griffin is extremely skilled, but they are dishonest. I dropped them when I could no longer live with that. I hope they fix their honesty issue because other than that they are great.
