It was a nice one that just died. The haul companies were charging $125 to take it away. It cost for us to deliver to the dump also. I called Western Metal on the phone first to ask questions. Nice polite lady gave me all the information I needed to make a decision. I was told we could take it in and get payment for the metal, donate the value, or just drop off and leave which was the quickest method. Once we took it there, everyone was nice and helpful. We just decided to drop it off. But if I had a lot of metal, I would have them donate the money. It is a great idea. I like the fact that the metal is being recycled rather than buried in the landfill. This was a great option and we will use them again.

Second, some grade school educated Latino who only knows the word ''iron', uses a magnet to tell what the metal. What morons. Have you idiots heard about alloys? According to these thieves, if you bring in steel which might have some iron, chromium, molybdenum, and carborundum, they call it 'iron' because it is magnetic. That's robbery. Third, aluminum is priced nationally at .60 cents a pound, but these crooks give Renoites 30 cents. However, when I brought in twenty pounds of aluminum cable, they gave me 6 cents a pound. Pure crooks. Do not do business with the dirty crooks.

I called to see if any of the charities in town could do a pick up, and none could. One was actually refusing all donations due to low staffing. So, I turned to yelp and looked for a service. ReHaul was professional from the get-go. They picked up the items, donated them to charities I preferred and sent me the receipt. They also sent pictures of her room to ensure everything I requested was picked up. The given quote was actually a little under. A solid service when you need it. Thank you, ReHaul for making a tough task easier.

I also reached out to another company, and they were able to get back to me on Saturday and come clean them that same Saturday morning. Because I didn't receive any communication from the first company, I can't really speak to pricing, quality of work, or responsiveness beyond that initial attempt to contact them. I was hoping to try their service, but the lack of follow-up made that impossible. Since I never actually got a response or had any service completed with the first company, I can't say whether I would recommend them or not.
