Had a good take-out meal the other night. I was surprised to see the lack of stars since we last visited. I was a little nervous but our food did not disappoint. We had salad, fries, the cosmo, Perogi pizza, cheese curds, Mac and cheese and a Stromboli. The power went out due to a storm but everyone was on it from start to finish. Wish I had taken pics but we are it all so fast! Ha Our meals were huge and priced right. The food was fresh and fast. Overall- can't wait to return! read more

The business was sold and the new owners are missing the mark to meet the quality of the original Haywood's in Muncy. The French fries were cold and were an extremely small portion. They were cold! Two of us ordered the "Willy" and it too was cold but is a "hot" sandwich and lacked any resemblance to what it once was. Also, according to the new owner, since mozzarella cheese is "to expensive" now ~ I had to pay an up charge for a cold ~ not melted piece of cheese on my "hot" sandwich. Neither of us enjoyed our food. I had water to drink and my friend had Pepsi. The bill was $39.00...we will never go back. After more than 20 years of great food and service we were hugely disappointed. read more

Service was great, but keep a menu to compare prices. They will charge you more for an item on your bill than listed. Always compare your check to a menu!!! Always!! read more

Food was just ok. It used to be really good but has gone downhill. We went in for lunch midweek. It took more than 40 minutes for our food to come out. There were only two other occupied tables when we came in. The waitress never checked on us through other than when she finally brought our food out. Very disappointed in what used to be a good place to go for lunch. read more

We stopped at Haywood while working in the area. The restaurant is immaculate inside very clean. Our waitress was spot on the service was a 10 out of 10. The food was a 10 out of 10 the Haywood burger is delicious. Lots of flavor and huge almost enough for two meals. You don't find that at a restaurant anymore. lots of wing flavors to choose from the wings are just the right size not too small not too big no gristle. We also tried the peanut butter pie. It was excellent. I highly recommend this placed to anybody passing through. It's only a mile and a half to 2 miles off of the interstate. read more

$8.50 for draft beer. Outrageous!! Nachos were dry and tasteless. Reuben special was misleading. Corned beef was ground up and there was cole slaw on the sandwich not sauerkraut for $16.95. Very overpriced and not enjoyable. Waiter was the only pleasant part of the evening. read more

Showed up around 1:20 for lunch. They close at 2, but there was no issue being seated. Service was attentive and friendly. Hubby had the burger with onion rings. Said it was good, nice and pink inside (Perfect!). Did not come with condiments or lettuce or tomato. He's not sure if it was listed like this on the menu:( He ordered the beer battered fries, which were not over coated. I had the portabella mushroom sandwich. This was a nice size portabella, just a tad bit smaller than the bun. It was stated on the menu that it had guacamole, which was thinly spread on the bun (would have been nice to have more). I ordered the sweet potato fries. NOW here's why the three stars. When Tasha was taking our order, she offered us three types of fries (regular, sweet potato, and beer battered), she DID not mention an up charge for anything other than regular fries. So when the bill came it was a surprise. Would return:) read more

It's a classic for a reason! This PA-sports themed bar has good wings, plenty of beer, and a lovely sandwich menu. Give it a shot

The service was very slow. The fries were cold and soggy. It took forever to pay the cashier due to her inability to work the register. Never said anything about a service charge when using a credit card. read more

Ordered a varsity Rueben and it was extremely dry. Hardly any dressing or cheese and meat. Very disappointed

Food and service was great! Best Mac and cheese in muncy!!!!! The place was super cool inside, go Steelers!

Haywood's has always been one of my favorite places to go. Every Thursday night during football season our football team would eat here and we always loved it! I loved the apps such as the fried cheese curds and deep fried pickles! The main course I always got was either a burger or chicken tenders/wings. Food and customer service was always outstanding! read more

I've had pretty good experiences so far. Mostly stop in for lunch. I've brought my son twice, and we both have had good meals. The brisket sandwich was very tasty and I enjoyed the cheesesteak I got the time before. They have a pretty nice selection of sandwiches. I recommend stopping in and checking it out for yourself. read more

You sould say on the menu that the turkey is chunks of dark meat in all your turkey sandwiches. I have NEVER had any restaurants ever use dark meat in any turkey offering in my life. So many people do not like dark meat. Plus they must have charged me extra for sweet potato fries even though the waitress didn't mention it and gave me that choice as a side. I got JV Reuben $9.95 and water and it was almost $13.00. First time here and my last. read more

Good service--very friendly BUT did not like cheese steak--they used ciabatta bread and it was too heavy! Need to use a good sub roll for a cheese steak sub. read more

Sad to say this place used to be one of our favorites. Service was slow, wasn't busy and still waited over an hour and a half for our food. Burger was overcooked, wings weren't cooked enough, fries were cold. Such a disappointment... read more

We have been there many time and was always a favorite place to go when in the area but after tonight we will not be back. The menu change and so did the food. The food was barely warm when it came out and cold before it could be finished and tasted like it was out of a can far from what was like fresh home cooked food before. I'm disappointed to loose what was a great place to eat. On the bright side they will go under soon and leave a spot for a new restaurant to go in. read more

Hmm, I've been to Haywoods a few times for lunch while in the area for work, and have also had cocktails after work hours. All of my experiences have been great. Good food at a good price (think delicious American style bar food). They have a full bar at cheap prices and seem to usually be offering drink specials. The place also seems to never be empty which is a good sign. The only knock I have, which I think I may have listed in my "tip", is that the portions are MASSIVE. There is no way a normal human who consumes a normal amount of food could ever finish any of their plates (I struggle to eat half). I personally think it's a big waste, but some people may think of it as a "positive". The food prices are good, so why in the world wouldn't they cut the portion sizes down by 33%, to normal human sizes, and pocket the extra profit? Regardless of portion size, this is the best spot in Muncy, with Orlando's down the street coming in at second. read more

Awful! Waitstaff is miserable, food was horrible! Order a sandwich that came with fries. The Fries looked like they were refried and refried and refried. The sandwich on the other hand looked like it was good and tasted ok. Little did I know it would revisit my mouth in the middle of the night. Stomach hasn't been the same since! My husband and I have given this place too many chances! Every time it has been a huge let down! We're done! read more

If your waitress is older and Uhm not pretty , watch out she's not cool . We went in as a group of 8 to order drinks while we signed a lease agreement . She became VERY VISABLY annoyed when we said we would order our meal 'after a while'. And then when we did begin ordering appitisers she again was visably annoyed we didn't order entrees YET. Update - every other waitress ive seen here is pleasant and willing to please. I can say the prime rib wrap is good the burgers are alright but that huge hot dog they have is gross. It seriously tastes like the cheapest hot dog ever made. read more

On Sunday 12/29/19 my wife and I along with our daughter and son in law had dinner. And I have to say that we didn't have good service at all. And we weren't the only party that did. We overheard a large party speaking with your bar manager about something that they weren't happy with and they requested to speak with Kim. But onto our experience. It took almost 20 minutes for someone just to take our drink order. Then probably another 10 minutes to get our drinks. The waitress claimed that the order didn't print to the bar. So my son in law ordered a grilled cheese and soup, when it came out the grilled cheese was obviously not cooked. You could tell the bun wasn't toasted and the cheese was clearly not even close to being melted. Now I must say we have eaten there plenty of times over the years and is the only time that we remember the service ever being bad. read more

We just came here with 4 friends for dinner. I ordered meat loaf. I wouldn't feed that mess to my dog!! It was disgusting! The gravy was in gross big chunks! So I told the waitress she came back n said we can either take 20% off your bill or charge you for the whole TABLESPOON of mashed potatoes and like 4 bites of corn! So I chose the corn n potatoes. They charged me NINE DOLLARS for that crap!!! Then on the way out the bar tender n a waitress were giggling n laughing at us. I will NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE! we all eat out 5 times a week. And the very few times we had issues they took the whole meal off! read more

Avoid the pizza or order one to distract all of the flies in this place while you eat you bread with more bread and some bread for dessert. Christ, how much more bread can a place have? And Pittsburgh style sandwiches are a cheap and tasteless ripoff of the original. Not even close to a copy of the ones yinz will get in the 'burgh. read more

Worst food cold uncooked. Two visits in a row. I'll never return and I'm telling everyone. BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!

Had an absolutely horrible experience last night first it started by the waitress not even knowing what beers they keep on tap but no big deal I get people are new and it takes awhile to learn but all she wanted to do all night was hangout with the bartender and back in the kitchen you could here her laughing all the way across the restaurant my wife's tacos came out with a hair sitting dead on top yet again in food industry I understand things happen but it was handled horribly the waitress asked if she wanted a new one after my wife said no she went back to the kitchen and hung out there we had to ask the other waitress to get drink refills this used to be one of the best places in the area but as I can see by the other reviews it is going down hill read more

Waitress was horrible. We waited forever for our food. Only got one refill on our drinks. 2 people didn't get their meals, one was a child and he hadn't eaten all day. She kept saying it's coming I'm so sorry, it's on it's way. We all finished by the time the two people got their food. Waited forever for our bill. Apparently the computer went down. Food wasn't very good. read more

The service was terrible & they messed up all of the items that were ordered with the exception of the deep fried items! The chicken tenders, mozz. Sticks, & Wings were good - but everything else was terrible!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THE PRIME RIB SANDWICH!!!!! If you want to go to a good Haywoods...stick with the one in Muncy, PA.!!!! read more

If i could give 0 stars I would. I was in the area and thought I'd try this place out. Big mistake. The waitress gave me the totally wrong sandwich, which i didn't like at all, and told me 20 minutes later that she did so. Out of the kindness of my heart and i was rushing to get out, I told her it was fine and i didn't want another sandwich. I expected, like an normal restaurant, she wouldn't of charged me for the complete incorrect meal. I was wrong. On top of that my ice tea was completely watered down. Absolutely terrible. Do not recommend at all read more

This is probably one of my most favorite places to eat. I'm quite the food snob according to my friends so that may say a lot. Despite a few waitress issues the food has always been delicious. My review is based primarily on the food aspect of this establishment. Although there are a couple crappy waitresses most of them are great at their job. I have two favorites here. I suggest trying the buffalo chicken stix and the Alfredo pasta dish. The brew fries are also great! read more

Reason for a one star. I discovered bones in my turkey sandwich. I told the waitress. She took one back to the kitchen to confirm. She came back to tell me yes it was bones. Then told me sorry then left. After walking past my table 2 or 3 times she realized I stopped eating my sandwich. She the offered a dessert on the house. Listed off a half a dozen pies. I picked one. To have her come back to say they only had one kind of pie. Of course the type I don't like. Personally myself if I was in the waitresses shoe. I would've asked if there was a different sandwich they would like. Plus said the meals on the house. I'll never eat here again read more

Very interesting decor. I really like this place.. Sport bar with good food. Portion is really huge and I suggest wings and tacos. If you don't try them then you don't know what you are missing. .Service is fast and friendly. read more

To be honest, I haven't tried a whole lot on the menu, but with good reason. I go for the cheesesteaks, and sometimes I'll get the wings. Starting with the wings...I think the hottest level is suicide, which isn't all that hot. I'm pretty sure they just add extra hot sauce to the wings. The garlic hot is pretty good, not a whole lot of heat, but I do enjoy the flavor. They really pile the garlic on, and I'm always happy with that. They are cooked well also- overall, very good. The cheesesteaks are amazing. You won't get better cheesesteaks in the area. The rolls are fresh and I'm pretty sure they toast them on the griddle. The american cheese is basically melted into the meat, and it comes with fried onions and mushrooms, served piping hot. Great flavor with a soft roll but still crunchy from being toasted. The cheesesteaks are served with fresh thick cut fries. Sometimes they aren't fried far enough, but usually they're good, and sometimes they're perfect. For $10, most people usually get two meals. The portions are big enough that you can take half the sandwich and fries back and still be stuffed. The service is good, too, they are always refilling our drinks and making sure we have what we need. They're all really friendly, too. I would go there any day! read more

We were in a large party of 25. The room was very warm to the point of being uncomfortable. Several orders messed up.
