Very nice library. I started going here when I was just a child & have fond memories of the children's library from those days.

Maybe I'm biased because I got my BS here and I'm on the Alumni Association board, but I guess I…read moresay involved because this school was great when I was a student and fun to visit as a resident of the surrounding community. When I was a student here, I was injured and couldn't go to class for 6 weeks. To allow me to stay a full-time student, the school sent someone to my house to administer tests and quizes and collect my homework. I only had to take one incomplete (had to do in-class presentation) even though I was laid up for weeks. The education I got has given me great opportunities in my career. As a visitor, I love the Gardens, paved trails, and unpaved bike trails for walking my dog. There's also programs (i.e., Arts & Issues) for the community to attend. If you haven't seen the campus in a while, you should drive through and see all of the new buildings going up. Just be sure to keep it to 25mph and stop for the pedestrians. Oh yeah, and beware of the geese.

I suppose it's generally true that most universities enrich their surrounding communities in many…read moreways, some recognized and some not. When I pause to think about all that SIUE offers to E'ville residents, it's really quite a package. I have family members and friends among alumni and faculty, and they are better suited than I to comment on the educational experience. Personally, I occasionally go to concerts, lectures, and games. On a more regular basis, I use Lovejoy Library, the Gardens and associated trails for walking/biking, and Cougar Lake, which actually has better fishing than most people realize (caught a BIG largemouth bass there just yesterday). At this juncture, my yelpin' desire to give props conflicts with my fisherperson instinct to preserve the best water. You'll have to find the fish yourself!

Southern Illinois University Edwardsville - Just for ppl looking for the hidden fees of college. I like SUIE but good grief, the red lots are a 20min walk from my classrooms.

==Service: 5 Star== Students will have the best service here…read morein this college. They have all the students need to complete their assignment even if you are home, students can access the library online. LC staffs are really friendly and they are willing to help student to achieve a better in their classes. There is a lot of campus activity if the student love this kind of thing. For sport they have almost have all of it. There is some classes that are just offered in edwardsville campus. students are really force to go there and take their classes. -Tips:- If you are struggling on writing, you can access the writing center in the library at the main building. They are very nice and friendly, and will help you a lot. I recommend the students go to the student success center because it is free and they will really help you a lot in your studies. be more active on activities so that will make students resume pretty. ==Atmosphere: 5 Star== This place is so clean. One thing that is bothering for some students is that some building are old and every time you step on the floor students will hear a creaking sound. ==Cost: 4 Star== The cost is perfect for everyone its not that high and not too low. it will cause you around $1300 - $2000 per semester. They accept Financial Aid, scholarship and other grants. ==Instructor: 4 Star== I encounter the best teacher in this campus. but some of my friends didn't. That is the reason why I scored this as 4 star. In my two years studying on this campus, all of the Instructor are very nice and approachable when a student need help. -Tips: I recommend Jim Price for being an awesome film art teacher, Dr. Gerald Mozur for logic reasoning, Jenny Margarida for English, Coral Kimble on Math, and Pat Rzewnick for speech class, If you're taking calculus. I recommend Fred Sexton, Open book exam. And he is very approachable and helpful. Note: This is just my previous instructor that are very helpful and nice. It is your choice to pick this instructor or not. I am not responsible for anything.

Worst school ever, all of the staff act like they do not have common sense, they send you emails…read moreabout tuition one day and then the very next day will drop you, the college apartments are nasty asf they have roaches and no one ever cleans up after themselves, Highly do not recommend.
