Dr. Suter was incredibly supportive during a health crisis with our beloved dog. Her holistic approach gave us new opportunities and hope through her research and practice in alternative and non-invasive methods. Dr. Suter is a true dog whisperer.

I went to his regular vet multiple times, was prescribed expensive prescription dog food, lots of medications, etc, but nothing helped. On top of that, he was gaining weight. He was 35lbs when I first brought him home ballooned up to 50lbs (too much for a dog his size). He was also extremely anxious, stressed, and very fear aggressive. The first thing Odette did was do blood work and saliva tests. Lo and behold, my dog was allergic to chicken! The main ingredient in his prescription food. Under Dr. Suter's care, I learned all about animal health and nutrition. My dog's anxiety and stress is getting much better as well. She also did some chiropractic work on him (he skips on his back legs) and he's now doing so much better than I could have ever thought. Odette does AMAZING work and her goal isn't just to fix your animal's symptoms. She works to fix their overall health as well. She teaches you on animal health, with up to date statistics and information, and strives to help you become an educated pet parent. I'm so thankful to have found her! Absolutely love Odette and highly recommend her to everyone.

I have…read moreused the following services: wellness exam, orthopedic exam, orthopedic surgery, dental cleaning, chronic illness management, acute illness management, wound treatment, laser therapy, acupuncture, and Chinese Medicine. I have seen Drs Kusba, Olson, and Landon and highly recommend them and their vet techs for both Western and alternative veterinary medicine. In 2009, I had been to several vets, including "sports" vets, with my Cardigan Welsh Corgi, and none was able to diagnose the cause of my dog's limp. I was then told by a friend and fellow Agility exhibitor to see Dr. Jill Kusba. Dr Kusba correctly diagnosed the cause of my dog's limp within 15 minutes of examining him. In addition, she brought in a model of a dog so I could see exactly which muscles and ligaments were torn, demonstrating a superior bedside manner. Dr Kusba is thoroughly professional and eminently qualified in both traditional and alternative medicine. Through her highly skilled use of acupuncture, Dr Kusba enabled my elderly mixed breed dog to walk again after her back went out, without the need for surgery or drugs that only mask the problem. In my opinion, Dr Kusba is by far the best orthopedic vet in the greater Milwaukee area. While my Cardigan was seeing Dr Kusba, I took my mixed breed dog to see Dr Linda Olson on the recommendation of a friend from the dog club. With an MS in Immunology, Dr Olson has been a perfect fit in treating my elderly dog, who has an endocrine disorder. I have found Dr Olson to be very knowledgable and refreshingly open-minded in treatment options for Maddy, and we have reached a satisfying mix of alternative and traditional treatment that has enabled my dog to live into her 14th year. Dr Olson has also performed very thorough orthopedic exams and laser therapy on my dogs. I have lost count of the number of times Dr Olson has gone above and beyond for my dogs, and I have yet to meet a vet who cares more about her patients or is more knowledgable in Internal Medicine than Dr Olson. I do not hesitate to recommend Care Animal Clinic for any pet owner looking for very knowledgable, personable vets utilizing both Western and alternative medicine.

UW Veterinary School performed an emergency, life saving splenectomy on her, but told us that the median survival time for dogs with hemangiosarcoma was still typically only 3-6 months. However, thanks to the incredible staff at Animal Holistic Care Specialists who have guided us through the use of Traditional Chinese Medicine & perform gentle chiropractic, acupressure & acupuncture on Bella, Bella is celebrating her 19 month anniversary (from diagnosis) next week! And unlike chemotherapy, the holisitc treatments at AHCS make Bella' body strong so that she is able to fight her cancer. Also unlike chemo, the treatments are relatively affordable & easy to budget. Bella's overall quality of life has been exceptional thanks to AHCS & we are eternally grateful!
