Well, yesterday I got in a little fender bender in Mansfield, and luckily no one got hurt... well besides my used to be sexy beast of a car. I have a nice dent in my driver side door now (I'll probably end of leaving it like that for a while). My bad luck continued because I also had a cracked windshield and a shattered door glass.
I managed to make it home, luckily, then made calls to a body shop and a glass shop. My grandparents said they always use Hayes Glass for their house windows, screens, and auto glass, so they recommended them because of their quick, courteous service. I decided to give them a call the next afternoon. I was hoping not to have to wait anymore than a few days to get everything fixed.
I talked to the person on the phone and told him I needed a new windshield, door glass, and motor for the glass (I learned it's called a regulator). He asked what type of car and gave me a quote. When I asked how long it would be, they said they could have it done by the next morning!!
The price was good, compared to a couple other places I checked, so I took my car in yesterday and just came to pick it up, less than 24 hours later. Now I have nice clean windows, a new regulator, and a solid windshield without windshield wiper marks on it.
It looks like they did a great job, and they were really nice the entire time. I hope I don't break anymore glass soon, but if I do, I know who can patch up my mistakes. If you live in the Marion or surrounding areas and need glass then call up Hayes Glass read more
