MIke came to our assistance quickly in a very nice, clean truck. He is very professional and personable, with a soothing manner during what wa a very scary experience with Mac trucks whizziing by us on the shoulder at 70+mile / hour. First on the scene was Hawks' large semi (the size of a commercial moving van) which parked behind us and placed bright orange "warning structures" on the ground to warn the oncoming traffic to slow down becuase there was an "accident".. As a result, my elderly mother and I felt very safe and in good hands as we sat in Hawk's clean, comforatble tow truck while Mike loaded our car onto his tow truck's flat bed. Mike was especially gentle and caring in the manner in whch he helped my mother get into his clean, comfortable tow truck. We had a very nice calming chat on the way to the dealership where our car's flat tire was replaced. MIke had been at the dealership before, so he knew his way around and efficiently gave us door-to-door service. Net, net - Mike was the hero of the day taking excellent care of us and my mother's car, and he really took the edge off of what started as a terrifying experience. Called AAA for a tow. Hawk's Towing came with flatbed. Driver refused to tow and instead started ripping parts off my car. Told me to drive it to my mechanic myself. Freaking nightmare. Hawks towing is absolutely wonderful! AAA sent them the first time that I needed a tow and the customer service from Peter and Matt was outstanding. They were polite, professional and very knowledgeable. I told them that if I ever needed help again I would certainly call them. I even called AAA to tell them of my fantastic experience. Hawks was called for my tow by AAA. My 500 SL stays stored during the winter and the tires were flat when I needed to bring it out of storage for my yearly service. Hawks came to pick up the car. I had pumped up the tires for the driver before he showed up. But I had not started or driven the car since last year when I put it away. I handed the keys to John and stood back. He started the car and drove it up onto the flatbed. We headed to the dealer and as I went in to speak to my service rep. John drove the car off the truck and returned to his truck. As soon as my service guy opened the door to the car. The gapping rip in my seat was very evident and they immediately came to me and told me. You could tell it's a fresh rip. We tried to stop John before he pulled away but couldn't get his attention. I repeat I never sat in the seat and neither did anyone from the dealership. I called AAA and Loyola who is somehow affiliated with Hawks. I received a call from Salman from Hawks. I sent him pictures and he came out to look at the car. He literally told me it was my word against them. And I couldn't prove they did the damage. He will not pay to fix my seat. I would stay away from this company if you value you vehicle as I do. Do not touch this business with a ten foot pole. They ripped a hole right through my mother's Mercedes seat and then tried to put the blame on her when she didn't even drive the vehicle. The owner wouldn't accept responsibility for the drivers actions and flat out strong armed my 65 year old mother and gaslit her into accepting the horrible outcome. Made her have a full on panic attack. I'll be filing with the bbb. And posting on social media platforms to spread awareness of how shady they are. This is a real review!! Not a fake paid one like their others. She's on a fixed income now and that thing is her baby. What a shame you crooks. -also edit. He had the nerve to say he knows his driver didn't do it and had nothing in his pockets. (Complete lie my mother was right there) And right here in another review on Google you can see his driver keeps a knife in his pocket at all times, dropped it out of his pocket in front of a customer and when they picked it up he said "hey that's my knife". This was my first bad experience ever with a AAA-dispatched technician. The technician was persistently and repeatedly rude throughout the whole repair (putting on a spare tire for a complete flat). After greeting him when he arrived, he did not respond to me at all. His first words were to complain I had put his repair car in danger by not moving my car out of the right lane of traffic, despite the fact that there was no parking lane on this street. I told him I had been told never to drive on the wheel rim. He replied, "Do you want your car to get smashed up by another driver?" So I offered to move my car to a side street, but he refused. He also dropped a folding knife out of his pocket, and didn't seem to have noticed he dropped it. When I picked it up to hand it to him right before he left, he acted offended. ("Whoa, that's my knife, man.") Finally, he complained about putting the old tire in my trunk. I told him I hadn't gotten it myself because I thought AAA would dispose of the old tire, and apologized. His response: "That's YOUR tire, dude." I thanked him anyway for his work, and got a grumble in return. Everything was quick (about 30 minutes) and the dispatcher was nice, but I'd happily wait another half-hour for another technician from Hawk's Towing who wasn't actively rude. read more

My catalytic converter from my Prius was stolen and the dealer was looking to charge over $3,500. Hawks came through with the converter and an oil change for less than $1,600. They towed the car and I had a nice conversation with the tow truck driver. They treated me with respect and let me borrow a loaner car for 4 days. Unprofessional driver. Came with a rolloff instead of a tow truck which can only winch horizontally instead of lift up. When I questioned him on how he wanted to drag my truck and told him I thought that would damage it, he said, "That's why I'll make you sign a damage waiver before I get started" He then said if I wouldn't sign it he'd leave. AAA had Hawks respond to my request for towing. They responded very quickly.I was so impressed by Paris who expertly handled a very difficult tow. The front suspension gave out and he was extremely careful to prevent any damage to the frame of the car both when getting it on the truck and then leaving it at the drop off. It was obvious how expert he was at his job and I appreciate his patience and courtesy. If I ever need a tow again, I will definitely request Hawks and highly recommend them. These guys were life savers. The Sunday before Memorial Day my Alternator went out. Long story short, AAA was horrible and gave me the run around basically extending the time a tow was to arrive again and again until I finally gave up (and cancelled my AAA membership - You can't tell me it will be 90 minutes and then four hours later tell me it will be 5 more hours!). My experience with Hawks towing was thru AAA. My 2008 Toyota Highlander had a burst high pressure oil line and was undriveable. I called AAA to let them know of my situation, and within minutes was contacted by Hawks towing. The dispatcher said he had a truck in the area and would be there in 10 minutes. From the time I made the initial call to when my vehicle was in my mechanics shop was under an hour. Since the car was undriveable , the driver from Hawks towing pushed it by hand into the shop. Once called, they kept me posted on the arrival time and status, and once there (exactly as the arrival time was told to me), the tow driver was pleasant, energetic and professional. Even with severe cold and snow, he took care of the tow promptly and once delivered to the repair facility, I was notified and all went as expected. My newish Hyundai was completely dead when I went to start this morning. Under their roadside assistance plan, they wanted to tow to dealership for a look. I agreed, and they sent Hawks. I am so glad they did. The tow truck driver called me and advised that the battery was just dead, not getting enough juice with all the computerized gadgets cars have now, and that he really thought a tow to the dealer was not necessary. He went into some more detail and turns out he was completely correct! He could have just towed it.... but he took the initiative to go that extra mile to save me time and trouble.
