I hired Hawk contractors LLC to landscape around my pool. They did a fair job, regardless of him breaking my new landscape light (out of my pocket, not included in the price without offering to replace it, or remove it from my bill). After they finished their work the breaker to my pool and deck started tripping. I called an electrician who came out and upgraded the breaker. This did not fix the problem, it continued to trip. I replaced my pool pump and that did not fix the problem. The electrician came back out and changed out all of the electrical housing on the outside of my house...did not solve the problem. Finally, they disconnected the power wires to my deck...the problem was solved. The electrician said that the wires to the deck are/must be damaged. I called Hawk, the owner got instantly defensive. He arrogantly said, " how do you know we did it?". No one else had been excavating over and around those wires, and everything worked fine until they did their work. I told him it could wait until spring before pool season, but they needed to be repaired. I called him 2 weeks ago to schedule the repairs, I sent several text that were flat ignored, no phone calls returned, zero accountability!! They have no physical address listed for the business, they are (were) not registered with the BBB, no email, website, or even voicemail. Apparently, the LLC in their name means to the extent that they are held to zero accountability if they damage your property while doing the work you paid them to do. If your experience is like mine, they damage your property then flat ignore you!!! I DO NOT Recommend this contractor. Filed a complaint with the BBB, pending reconciliation. read more
