I sent a second email after this as I was so irritated by the lack of response and the accusation I had forgotten the cake I ordered. I got no response to this. One week and 4 days after the day I went to get the cake, I received an email asking for my phone number as another person wanted to call to apologise. I refused on the basis it was too little too late and they had my contact details, they were included in the original order form, so I figured they were simply making excuses and demonstrating more poor customer service. I posted publicly on facebook my experience, their response was to block me and remove my public post! A shameful place. Interestingly on my public post random people added their own experiences all of which were just as poor. One poor mother had ordered two cakes for her 12 yr olds b'day and neither had even been made when she went to collect them! So, if you have money and time to waste by all means this is your place, if not then go anywhere else!!

I was too hungry to care but next time I might ask for a real 63 degree. The coffee was good and the place was charming. Service was pretty good. Better than most places in Sydney. My favourite thing is probably Smorrebord, open sandwiches. I have had the salmon with egg, dill and mayonnaise. They can come with a side salad, today I had a delicious salad of raw greens, nuts and currants. Coffee is excellent. They also have a nice list of wine and beers. I think they are open later on Fridays and hope to drop in for after work drinks sometime soon!
