I was so thankful to find Eagle Inspection for my new home. We initially had first inspection with…read morethis other company (very well known company but for their reputation i won't list it) but they didn't find one thing instead they said everything is okay to move in....but we knew something was weird..because even myself (just normal person with 20/20 eye) was able to see the water damages in the basement and window issues (rotting wood trims around most windows, cracks on windows and missing locks on couple of windows because owner was rushing to cover up something they forgot to put the locks back on the windows after painting). We actually used John twice - both for a pre-inspection for the home we were selling and for the inspection on the house we were purchasing. For the pre inspection he identified every issue we should be aware of and address for the incoming buyers, which helped us get in front of any inspection nightmares that could trip up the closing at the last minute. For the home we were buying, John went through the whole house and pointed out not just things that were negative, but also what looked good which helped reassure me that the house we were buying was the quality home we were hoping for. He pointed out little things that were tremendous help for someone completely clueless about home care - such as the pine tree in our backyard that was dropping needles into our gutters, which I never would have noticed otherwise! They wouldn't return my calls and the owner kept saying he would call me back and I had to keep calling and left messages. He texted me and said he hadn't forgotten about me and would call me back first thing in morning but never did. :( I figured they are busy but it would nice to be professional to keep to their word to call me back and let me know. Disappointing since they were great on the first project. I guess it's hard to find good reliable help these days. Sorry for the late post. This work was done in 2024…read more Had a leak coming into the basement around the chimney area. Called Reese & Sons because of their high rating and positive reviews. Lucas answered while on an existing job. He was very honest saying he can't drop by to make an assessment. Knowing the importance of the situation, he said he'll have his father drop by to take a look. The father (was it Joe?) came by as promised and saw that the previous roofer didn't put flashing around a portion of the chimney. He gave a couple of possible fixes and I picked the more expensive one. He gave me a break on price if i went with the more expensive fix which i appreciated. Before showing up for the work due to budgeting issues i changed to the lower price solution. He didn't have any problems with this change. He and his other son (not Lucas) came on the day as promised. The funny thing was I didn't know they were there until i heard banging outside! They ripped some of the old roof tiles, installed new flashing and overlay them with some leftover tiles I had laying around. They also caulked around other parts of the chimney. They cleaned up their mess. There were aome storms afterwards and no leak! Thx to Lucas for knowing the importance of the problem and having your father and brother fit me into their schedule. And thx to father and son (was it Joe and Ezekiel?!) for fixing the leak! I would definitely consider them to put in a new roof when the time comes!
