We went early, around 4:30 because we hadn't had lunch and our childcare was available at that time. We were seated right away and we chose the patio. The physical restaurant is nice but the metal chairs on the patio are not the most comfortable. As the place got more crowded it became very loud and there is about six inches from the chair behind you. It is very hard to have a conversation. When it came to the food there was a lot to be desired. To start they didn't have unsweet tea or any tea. We started with the Grouchy Egg which is just a Scotch egg. It was a little under seasoned but the marmalade helped it a lot. The big issue was that it was cold! We then had a couple salads which were very good. I had the wedge which had Marcoot cheese curds and Wayfare dressing. It was the best wedge salad I've ever had. Then we waited, and waited, and waited. It was an hour and half before we got our food. People who came in after us got their food, ate, and left before we got our main dishes. My wife had the shrimp and I had the picanha, which they call a pub steak. Everything was cold, the vegetables were ice cold. The picanha was not cooked properly as the fat cap was not rendered at all. It was hard and I had to take it out of my mouth. There was also little no Maillard because it was cooked on a girl but it didn't taste like charcoal or wood; again that's just preference but you should know what you're getting. I would have made our server aware but we didn't see her again for another fifteen minutes. If the potatoes and vegetables had been hot then they probably would have been good. We ended with the Oreo cheese cake. This was very good and the cheesecake was excellent and the crust was very well done as well. It was a bit rich for my personal taste but it was executed well and my wife really liked it. I will add that I don't know if this is the fault of the kitchen or if our server forgot about us and it died in the window, the kitchen should have still caught it if this was case. Overall, we were not impressed and won't be back. Drive the twenty minutes to St. Rose or head to the metro east. Even if everything was the result of our server it reflected very poorly on the restaurant as a whole.

There isn't a posted menu anywhere that I could find, the regular updates that the owner does on Facebook are great, but that information doesn't have captions and isn't written down somewhere, which is very inconvenient. I don't want to have to listen to his spiel only to get to the one thing I'm looking for. I would strongly recommend improving the actual website (not just Facebook) so that folks younger than 50 (who DO exist in Greenville!) might be more encouraged to access the information.

The young male server was so friendly and very fast . ) I wish I could recall his name ) We had our drinks within a minute of ordering them .
