This is my go to spot to get balloons. It's about a 10 min ride from my home so I just pick it up. Pick up days are Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. It's a wholesale place so your min order has to be $100. They sell most of the top name balloon brands. The workers are hilarious and friendly. Wish they had a loyalty membership but regardless I'll be using them forever. BTW follow my IG page for your Rentals or balloon designs- @shirrells_decor read more

First impressions are lasting! Don't bother patronizing this business. I purchased balloons from this store and I regret doing so. You are only allowed to make online orders. Unfortunately, one of the color balloons that I purchased didn't meet the description that was displayed online. I was informed by John (one of the employees) that he would speak to the manager the following day to see if anything could be done. A follow up call was made the next day and I was told that there was nothing that could be done due to covid. The manager proceeded to say, "Well, at least you didn't spend a lot of money on the balloons." Regardless of what was spent, it was money spent out of my pocket for something I didn't want and couldn't use. I could see if I was seeking a refund, but a simple exchange couldn't honored? NEVER AGAIN! Don't make the same mistake I made. There are other suppliers out there that will treat you better. read more

Excellent customer service!!! Joseph, Austin, and John were extremely professional. I went to pick up my order and had several questions regarding pumps. They made me feel comfortable and helped me select the best pump for the needs of my business. read more

Havin' A Party Wholesale - Simple but elegant centerpieces. - Wholesale Stores Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Customer service is A1, hands down! My first time working with them and I felt very valued as a customer! They went above and beyond for me and the little bit of money I spent. There are balloon businesses around my area, none like Havin A Party. I will most definitely be working with them again! read more

I really don't understand how people are doing business these days. I placed an order with this company and one of the items I wanted was no longer in stock. I called to ask when they think they'd get it back in...the response "I dunno". Like what??? Ok, whatever...I needed the remaining balloons that I had in my cart so I proceeded with the order and did an in person pick up at their location. Here we are today the item is back in stock but I can't place the order online due to minimum purchase price. Thinking any reasonable business would surely oblige a returning customer and make an exception since the item was previously out of stock. NOPE!!! I was told I have to make the order online (after looking up my previous order) I guess I didn't spend enough initially to be worth the exception. Funny thing is I have quite a few events lined up for 2022 where I'll surely be needing balloons and I'll be sure to bypass this place. Trying to support local businesses at times, does not seem to pay off... I'll rather pay for shipping and quality service than to deal with the mediocrity that comes with a lot of these small businesses. read more

I used them to order 20 chairs for a baby shower. Pick up and drop off was quick and painless. $2 a chair and $10 security deposit (per chair) that theyll charge only if a chair is returned damaged. I also brought in balloons to be blown up. One popped and they replaced it for free. Nice people that have been in the party business for a long time and it shows. I'll definitely use them again in the future. read more

Ordered Disco Link Chains and boom box balloons for my hip hop 40th Birthday Party. Balloons were very cool and easy to inflate with a electric air pump. Shipping was pretty expensive ($15) package was delivered later than expected. Never received tracking information as promised. But Good customer service response after calling and emailing regarding package delivery. Balloon prices were the lowest I found for bulk orders. read more

A little disappointed because I drove all the way from the Bronx to purchase balloons for an event. Whoever I was speaking to at the door was very snappy and dismissive. Apparently you need a BUSINESS TAX ID number to shop here. It should be listed on the site so people don't waste their time. read more

I called Havin' a party 5 minutes to close requesting 27 balloons. I'm pretty sure they thought I was crazy. However Larry & Austin didn't hesitate to help me. Even gave me one balloon for good luck. Haha! Thank you guys! read more

What a great company to deal with when in the midst of planning an event! I have dealt with many companies but Havin a Party is by far on my top 3! Larry is awesome and he goes out of his way to make his customers happy -- it's a one stop shop! Definitely recommend! read more

Owner and son were helpful (and talkative), prices were reasonable. I ordered a baby shower chair, 7 large foil balloons and two bundles of single grounded balloons. Our party was located on the same block, they helped bring the balloons while we carried the chair. Our party was past their closing time so they agreed to pick up the chair at a later date. Overall good experience. read more

Great staff and fantastic service. They have everything you could think of for throwing a party, invitations to catering recommendations. They are also a fantastic Halloween and magic shop! read more

One place to Avoid . There are several places that offer far superior party planning events and staff . The owner is abrasive and crass, His take it or leave approach is nothing short of rude. So take your business elsewhere , Cause this place should be called Havin An Attitude. Not worth it . AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!!!! read more

Havin' A Party is my go-to place for Balloons in Brooklyn. They have a large selection of sizes and colors, knowledgable staff and the service is amazing! There have been times when in a pinch they have sent me balloons by uber. Thank you! read more

Avoid at all costs. Besides the fact you can find WAY cheaper wholesale prices online like at Bargain Balloons, their customer service is just as poor unfortunately. I really wanted to like this place as an event planner in the NYC area, but their unfriendliness and lack of manners is what makes me turn away from this business. Only reason I gave two stars and not one star, is because they have a nice large selection of balloons. read more

Ordered a character for my son's 2nd birthday party. Larry was very nice and made the booking process easy, prices super reasonable too. Day of event, Matt arrived on time and walked me through the process. Friendly, professional, and you could tell he enjoys what he does. Half the show was character and the second half was balloon animals - the balloons were so intricate even the adults were amazed. The kids loved it too. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. read more

I initially contacted Having A Party through Yelp and I received a response with in the hour. When I went to the store, the staff were helpful. Chairs and tables arrived on time and were clean and ready for use. read more

Great Party Company, Very Reliable and fun, T he best in brooklyn

Very disappointed with their customer service. I am planning an event, have called this company a few times, and finally was able to get a conversation to connect. I'm not an event planner, just planning a party and obviously don't know all of the proper "terminology." Mid-conversation, I'm cut off several times and told that the place was getting busy and then was hung up on while asking questions. I'm disappointed because we were excited to use this place after reading the great reviews on Yelp. Will now have to go look at other locations. read more

I have three kids and each had at least one birthday party with a character/clown, etc. The service is impeccable - so friendly, so accommodating and ALWAYS on time. The kids enjoy it immensely and every character you can think of is available. read more

Great little shop! It was one of only two places in all of NYC that had the costume we needed - in February no less!
