They would Also Not refund any of my money after not showing up. I never seen these women at all during my pregnancy. Hopefully after this time they got together.

I didn't think she would have taken me as her client because I was already 39 weeks pregnant at our first meeting. The night I went into labor at 41 weeks, she showed up ready...essential oils and all! She was with my Husband and I for every step of the way (triage to an hour or so after the baby arrived) and she respected/supported EVERY decision my Husband and I made. She never once appeared tired, impatient, or frustrated with the birthing progress. We had a completely natural birth (in a hospital setting) but having Shiphrah and my Husband there made me feel like I was in the comfort of my own home- despite all the unnecessary hospital chaos that was happening around me. I would definitely use her again! I still think about the back rubs, the counter pressure, hugs, breathing techniques, leg rubs, smiles, reassurance, and just calm spirit she maintained to help me through such a painful & beautiful time! Yolanda was (and still is) truly a blessing during my pregnancy and postpartum. I have a good support system around me but I wanted someone with more experience in the field of entering motherhood. My milk came in early and has been in abundance - our son gained over 2 pounds in his first 2 weeks! They were spot on with pick up and delivery and even included a chocolate treat. That right there should say it all ! Our visits leading up to it she answered all my questions, she listened to my concerns but more importantly made me excited about birth even after having a traumatic birth with my previous child! She made it very clear this was my birth and wanted the birthing plan to be everything my husband and I wanted! However the one thing that ment the most is she took time out to check on us not just before upcoming appointments she kept track of but after our miscarriage we had to deliver out sweet baby boy. Sophia came in with a wonderful & calm energy and she gave me lots of suggestions on how to make the latch much more comfortable. She designed us a plan to breastfeed more as that was my goal and she followed up with me. After a few weeks, I had no more challenges with the breastfeeding! Fast forward a few months when my daughter was no longer accepting the bottle (what a switch)! Sophia came back in again with her wonderful, calming energy and got my daughter to drink from the bottle and gave us pointers on how to do it ourselves. She is extremely knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, patient, provides evidence-based recommendations and truly prioritizes mom's wellbeing as well as baby's. My husband was able to join us for part of her in-home visit and said he learned so much and we both felt so much more confident and empowered. She immediately sent a full plan via email reiterating the tips and info she shared during the visit for reference. Lactation support and education should be accessible to every mother when considering the immense benefits of breastfeeding - and Sophia made sure we had all the tools for success, making herself available at any point in the future for any other questions we had. On top of it all, she is a lovely human who is genuinely passionate about what she does and strongly advocates for mom and baby. Highly highly recommend!
