I have been coming here for a couple months now and this place is great. I have tanned at all her competitors over the years and she by far has the best and most equipment out of everyone in Lodi. All the beds are flawless and her customer service is outstanding. I often find myself chit chatting just for the good company. Her prices are also considerably lower than everyone else. I use her standup beds which are more powerful than what I'm used to which is great because I run hot and they keep me cool. All around just a fantastic business. read more

Staff is friendly and has great recommendations on time and how often to tan etc for new folks. The vibe is chill and clean! I got the monthly package to test it out. I love the quick stand up tanning as well as the leg tanner because my legs are always white. I notice the tan forming quickly after. You have prep time to undress and put on lotion. Goggles are a must as well as covering your nipples if you don't want them to burn! I used silicon tape I trimmed to fit. I love my color and will be back! read more

I have been going to this salon for quite a while...It is very clean and professional. Wonieta is a worker there and is very personable. She is very knowledgeable about the products too. Actually like going to a therapist.. Lol The owner Jason is very nice too. Always accomadating. They have all different level beds along with high pressure beds and a spray tan booth. I highly recommend this place to go to. Always a sale on the lotions and now Jason just added a new infrared booth. It is suppose to kill pain in your body and suppose to be relaxing. I believe it is a 40 minute session. All you can do is give this place a try. You won't be disappointed. Their hours at this time is Monday-Saturday...8am till I'm not exactly sure...Just give them a call for hours and pricing. read more

The lack of concern and compassion for my recent situation with Havatan Lodi and their owner Jason, is alarming and concerning. I recently had an experience at their Lodi location (which I will explain), that left me in shock and scared for my personal safety. When I met with the owner Jason about the situation, he tried to disregard what had happened and blow it off as if the situation were my fault. As a paying customer to a business, I have NEVER felt more disregarded, demoralized, and disrespected by a business owner, than I did today. Jason had no regard for my personal safety, he failed to take any accountability or responsibility as a business owner for what had happened, and he tried to manipulate the situation to make me feel that it was all my fault. He never acknowledged the negligence of his staff. Jason's behavior is baffling. I had not tanned with Havatan in over 12 years. An upcoming vacation brought me in, so my first tan was last Friday. I went in for a second tan this past Sunday. I arrived about 20 minutes before closing. I checked in and made my way into the tanning bed. I fell sound asleep, which according to their employee Rhonda, "happens all of the time". All of that would have been fine but when I woke up, the business was CLOSED. Yes, it was CLOSED. Lights off. Alarm set. No one around. I quickly got myself together, gathered most of my things and headed for the lobby. By this time, the alarm was sounding, the lobby was dim, and there was not an employee around. I though to myself, this must be a bad dream... they wouldn't leave me in here alone. Right? Wrong. The girl working (Mercedes) checked me in but later failed to thoroughly check that all of the customers had left before she closed up shop. Thankfully, the door inside Havatan has a single deadbolt to get out. I left as quickly as I could. I was upset, scared, and confused as to why a business would close with a customer still inside? The next day, I called three separate times, leaving three messages, asking that someone call me back right away regarding an urgent matter. Not one returned phone call. I tried again Tuesday morning and reached Juanita, a manager at Havatan. Juanita was very concerned and taken aback by the situation. She stated that this had never happened before and that she was so sorry about this and that the employee working should have never left without knowing if the person in the tanning bed was asleep or if they had just accidentally left and locked their tanning door behind them. Juanita stated that she was so sorry and that this was totally a fault of the salons. She was so sweet and made me feel comforted. Juanita said that she planned to call the owner (Jason) right away and that someone would get back to me. I didn't hear back that afternoon, so I visited the location Tuesday evening. That's when I met Rhonda. Rhonda was great, too! I had lost a necklace in the process and Rhonda helped me find it. She also informed me that the owner Jason had no intention of taking responsibility for his employee Mercedes leaving me after hours and that he felt that it was my fault for falling asleep. Unsettling, to say the least. So, tonight I met with the owner Jason. He was very quick to disregard what had happened to me and to blow it off as, "things happen". I tried to point out how he, as a business owner, is liable for every person who walks through the door. His responses were self-serving and not about what was right. It was like trying to talk sense into an ignorant child. My advice... If you're looking to tan in Lodi, make your safety a priority and look elsewhere... Lack of accountability by a business owner means more of a liability for everyone else. read more

Ever since Jason Bought Havatan it has made me love tanning again. The store is always clean and lots to look at and buy. After only 3 sessions I am a toasty golden brown and loving it. Great prices, great beds, great products, and an all around great business. As long as Jason owns it I will continue to drive from Stockton to Lodi to tan. read more

Place looks clean and had lots of beds...but way over priced. $20 dollars for a drop in tan at an outdated salon. The hours and prices are not what's posted on any site. The prices are not same anywhere I saw their information. They close at 7 and if you are not there before 6:30 you can't use the facility. Website says they close at 8. I got tour but they couldn't set me up with tanning because they closed in 30 minutes. read more

New owners but still the same hav a tan, kind of. Most of the employees are the same and I love that they have some of the best staff ever. I'm greeted by name and that's wonderful. The owners are great too they actually check up on their business that's very refreshing! And they are sooooo nice. I love everyone here, they carry the best products I definitely feel like it's worth the price and they run so many specials you can't go wrong. The staff is helpful explains everything very thorough to make sure you have the best experience. A lot of people ran away from hav a tan because they didn't like the way the former owner ran her business I guess, well now you don't have an excuse I really recommend giving them another shot. I decided that I wanted to try something different for a change. I felt so pasty, so I wanted to tan my entire body. I however not only wanted change, but I wanted to be creative in the process. When I paid for my tanning stars, I had brought in a cardboard cutout of the word "SKYRIM". I decided that since I loved the game "SKYRIM" for the XBOX 360 so much, that I would tan tan my entire body except for the cut out of the words SKYRIM on my chest. I'm very different, and enjoy grabbing the attention of your basic human life-form. I'm unique and decided that I wanted to have a healthy glow, vitamin-d, and SKYRIM all in one. I had a great experience. The staff at the front told me to due a minimum of 7 minutes. I didn't want to burn so I took their advice. Rude and unprofessional owner and staff. After tanning at this location for over 2 months, I was cornered by the owner ( in front if other customers and staff) to show her my Id after I just finished a session. Mind you I already provided my id when I came in to start. The owner accused me of tanning under someone else's plan and demanded to know who was waiting out in my car! After I let her know it was my 14 year old daughter and none of her business I left and will NEVER go back. RUDE and unprofessional ... I've been tanning here for almost 20 years. I was also a former employee when I was a teenager. This is the only place in town to tan where you don't have to wait. I get darker here than anywhere else I've tanned. A great selection of products, and good tanning options are what have brought me back all these years. Bottom line, if you want to get tan. I gave one star because I had too, otherwise I would have put none simply over the fact that the owner, Angela, is rude and unprofessional, just as the other reviews would say. She charged me this month though I cancelled and she refused my money back without any sympathy. She lacks customer service skills and empathy for her guests. Good luck trying to cancel your membership here. Ive been going here since 1997 and finally had enough after their Versa spa was broken for the entire month of September. i tried to cancel my membership over the [phone was met with resistance and attitude from Megan. i simply asked she either email, fax or mail me a copy of the cancellation and she couldnt do any of those three options. say what you will about the previous owner, but at least her girls were capale and pleasant. read more
