Hello, everyone. Felt like I should bring some truth about this whole laser thing. My experience is based under seven sessions throughout the year. Laser hair removal a great thing, great idea, but in practice it has quite some flaws. Those three stars represent overall product, rather than company's customer service, or staff behaviour etc. I was almost every time very satisfied on my visits, but this is not about that. I spent €99 for six sessions via groupon. Did not get the results that I was expecting. Did they reduce my hair count on chest? Yes. Significantly? No. I'd say reduction was about 40-50%. After my treatments finish and I didn't renew it, because I was reasonably happy with the results. Three month later I can tell that all hear is growing back on and treatment is only so affective as you keep continuously getting it. €99 per year doesn't sound as bad, but you can't expose yourself to sunlight or sun beds. You actually can, but then your treatment is postponed till your skin looses tan. Don't waste your money, unless you must get rid of 'em hairs. read more

If I could give no stars I would. Tried the laser hair removal here make no difference. Also tried a peel and my face was burning like it was on fire. When I rang the next day I was told that's how my skin should feel. I wasn't comfortable continuing and asked for a refund. Numerous phone calls trying to get a manager on the phone only to be lectured on how my skin should feel a tingle... there's a big different between tingle and unbearable discomfort. Refused to refund my money. Avoid as all they care about is getting money off you. read more

The transformation that I've seen at Havana has been like night and day. After my first 3 experiences with Havana had left me with a sour taste in my mouth but upon my 4th session I had arrived to find my experience quite different and actually quite enjoyable. As per previous visits, I had felt that my treatments were extremely rushed, parts of my treatment were skipped and the salon and specialist were not hygienic. On my fourth visit of my treatments, I walked in and waited as usual to be taken back for my treatment. Once getting into the room, the therapist took time to speak to me about my previous treatments, my experience, how I felt I was coming along and in general if I felt the treatments were working. Her demeanour was very pleasant and professional. As she was going to exit the room so I could prepare for my treatment, she advised that my garments were on the table for my convenience. Everything looked and felt much cleaner than on my previous visits. As we started my treatments the therapist took the time to walk me through each step of my laser hair removal treatment, and walked me through what to expect while she was focusing on each section. It was much more professional and comfortable and I felt at ease. I watched the therapist put on clean gloves, sterilize the equipment before and after use and I knew that my bottom was laying on a clean towel After my treatment, the therapist allowed me time to lather myself with aloe. Once I came out of the treatment room, I was walked to the counter and left to book my next appointment. I can't explain too much what made my experience that much better as it involves things that should only be heard by the ears of ladies, but I can say if I hadn't been locked into a package I wouldn't have come back but I am glad that I stuck with it because the service is now what I would come to expect. I should note that after reading my review, the manager of Havana had called me to discuss my experience and said that she was not pleased with what she had read about my experience. She advised that the company had recently been taken over by new management around December 2012 and a few changes had been implemented with many more changes were to come. I really appreciate the fact that she had taken the time to talk to me and show that she cared about her customers and was interested in what she could personally do to make each and every experience of all of her customers better. read more

I was trying to get appointment for a teeth whitening session for a while after several days trying they answered and told I can't get any appointment it was full , I did leave voice massages they didn't tell directly and save me the trouble by voice massage or by email answering my email I bought my session through groupon for 49 € but I think I lose it read more

I had never been to Havana Therapy, and to be honest only heard of it after purchasing a Groupon. I thought I'd give it a chance as I live local, it was good value for the Groupon etc etc. First off as a customer, I felt like more of a hindrance than anything else. My sessions were rushed, the staff were rude, and there was an extremely tense atmosphere in the premises. I wouldn't recommend it. read more

I got 6 sessions of laser hair removal done here. I felt the laser hair removal was fantastic, HOWEVER... I felt the girls working there were more sales people rather than beauty therapists as on more then a few occasions I felt I was being convinced into buying face products and forced into a face consolation ect. Also at one point, while I was on the bed getting my laser done, I could see the lady that was looking after me on that day looking at my legs and then continued to ask my why I wasn't getting laser hair removal on them. At this point I felt very uncomfortable. In all my laser experience was great, but I didn't find the girls working there very nice. read more

Hey, I kept postponing to write about this clinic hoping they will get back to me with a solution. I had the worst experience ever with them. I had the feeling all that they wanted was my money. I bought a laser hair removal pack (not discounted) : full legs, bikini, tummy. The first session was ok, it lasted about 45 minutes but the second lasted 25 and and the third 12 minutes. Dirty, rude and without the minimum care for customer service, not to say that reducing from 45 to 12 minutes the time for my sessions is just disrespectful. I've paid in advance 4 sessions but I will not go again ever. I complaint and asked to speak with a manager, all I've got was a voice mail with someone asking me to pay the balance for the 6 sessions. I am so angry and frustrated someone like that is still on the market making business. read more

hi all, I have to say something bad about HAVANA THERAPHY: 1) some staff are really not friendly- receptionist Aoife would be one of them.... 2) I don't like as every time you walk in, your treatment is performed by different therapist 3) they all are so pushy- trying to sell IMAGE skin care products...keep talking about this all over again and again...jesus, u can get the same think on internet half the price, would would u buy of them??? that's firstly. secondly, in now days, when there are so many companies, u need time to think and decide.... I think there are so much better beauty salons then HAVANA THERAPHY.... don't want to have this experience again so was a customer for few months, but definitely decided to never come back to HAVANA THERAPHY read more

HAVANA therapy prices are very high, but they aren't that good I have to say. firstly I don't like when they keep changing staff-one day you come in and one girls looks after you, soddenly another day another one....that's ridiculous.i think they have most of the staff part itme only.... no good and then they try to make you buy their image stuff witch I did find so so much annoying. read more

I would not recommend this place, no one there is qualified to do these treatments, they are very unprofessional and only in it to make a fast buck. They advertise teeth whitening and anti wrinkle treatments and talk about qualified doctors etc on their website. Before you buy anything from here either in person or through group on visit the place and as to see their qualifications, how long they worked in the area previously etc. Seriouly if u value your body parts do not lgo here, it is worth paying that bit extra for peace of mind read more

Terrible, impersonal service. The staff I dealt with don't seem to take any great job satisfaction in their work and it shows. I have been a few times and every experience was different, there is no continuity.. was on a few occasions treated by somebody just off their fag break and they stank. Doesn't seem to be any senior management present either. read more

It was horrible .... they don't do their job properly. I have paid 500 Euro for my face and 3 session was ok Bus last three session was only timepass for they. Can you believe to cover my forehead they gave only 4 stroke and for lips 3. It was horrible all they were trying is to sell their product and use more razer on the skin read more

Dont go. here. ever. a 7 minute microdermabrasian facial, that left makeup intact on my face. All in all, I was in and out in 26 minutes. The only thing they are very good at: is trying to sell you other products and services. Please dont use this place. Absolutely the worst beauty experience I have ever encountered. read more

I felt that the customer service was awful here. They are extremely pushy about getting other areas done and they make you feel like you need to and I felt very uncomfortable. The reception is also disorganized, I would not recommend this place. read more

I went here to have laser treatment on my legs. I was left with burns on my leg after the treatment that have scarred. Through legal representation I have since tried to contact the management of this clinic about this issue and have been ignored on several occasions. I wouldn't recommend anybody to go to this clinic, especially not for laser hair removal. read more

Recently finished a 6 session course of laser. Not impressed with results. Was told at the consultation that I was very compatible and 6 sessions would be more than enough to get rid of hair. I'd say there is about a 40% reduction max overall. I found the sessions quite rushed. There were times when I had a session on half legs, underarm and full bikini that was over in under 15 minutes. The staff must work on commission as they seem to do quite a hard sell on products and services. That said, the salon itself is nice and the staff were friendly. read more

The place has such a stench , like the plumbing needs fixing , I thought it was a once off but it was there all 3 times . It put me off returning for my last 3 sessions of i lipo, even though id a voucher. Wasn't impressed with one of the girls customer care. The machine freaked me out as they were busy so i went straight in after another lady & it was only after i was thinking , gross they didn't clean the machine , i mean come on , there's peoples sweat on that ! That was why it was warm. They also have the same green towel, im sure its the same as it wasn't soft, dried sweat I presume. I also had same experiences as the other reviews ie waiting as they were busy , girls texting/chatting while you wait before they decide to see you. I would never recommend this place. Also the first girl didn't tell me about the use of vibro plates and made me feel uncomfortable when there wasn't many cm lost and questioned my exercise routine ! read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED. ONE star only because of Clodagh! Otherwise it iz ZERO stars. I purchased the deal in LivingSocial. had no trouble to book, Clodagh was SO GOOD that I purchased another 3 Microdermabrasions with her. I booked second appointment in 10 days however 2 days before it I got a call from them saying that Clodagh is not available for 4-6 weeks (or longer) and I can make an appointment in Walkinstown instead (They said nobody else can do it in Dundrum, I asked to reschedule ! ). I don't drive and have 3 month old baby so I had to refuse. I called in two week and was forced by them to take an appointment in Walkinstown because they had nobody in Dundrum again. That was lunch time and I got the appointment for noon next day. In three hours my husband had an accident at work and he was given Valium in ER. I rang them straight away to cancel (since he was meant to give me a lift). Left a message and then was told I lost that treatment because of 24 hr cancelation policy. So now I will ask for refund. I got the deal for Dundrum and Clodagh. I can't get any of it. AND on the top I lost one treatment ( there was no way to cancel within 24 hr since I only booked it at lunch! ) I am very upset because of all this. I should have not agreed to take appointment in Walkinstown at all and take full refund for all treatments since they could not give me what I paid for. read more

I attended the Walkinstown Havanna for Laser as their prices were great and this really attracted me to them. My first impressions of the premises is that it was very modern, bright and clean. At my consultation the staff couldn't have been nicer literally falling over themselves to serve me and answering any questions I had, they did give me the whole sale pitch thing (I reckon they work on commission) and I paid a LARGE sum of money over to them for a course of treatment's. BUT since then every time I attend an appointment the transformation in the staff is unreal!! They are rude, everything is rushed, uninterested, unprofessional along with a complete lack of personality...... I seriously cannot believe it is the same place I walked into for my consultation!! I have paid the money but I only have a couple of sessions left and will stick it out ..........my advise? Stay far away from Havanna Walkinstown they get your money and then treat you like dirt. read more
