We figured we're in Little Havana so we had to stop at a cigar lounge! The lady was really nice with helping us girls figure out what the heck we were doing. lol we had a beginners cigar and just lounged around for a bit. The cigar went out a few times and they were nice enough to re-light it for us. I really liked that there was no judgement and we were left alone to hang out. They also serve coffee - LOL read more

These folks are rolling some of the best cigars in the market. Plenty of inside seating. Ventilation is great. I had 2 Cuban coffees and they were outstanding also paired with some cookies. Really bought out the flavor in my cigar. The manager on duty was a true cigar aficionado. Definitely recommend this cigar shop if you are ever in the Miami area. You can order cigars off their website and the prices are very reasonable. read more

A great place to stop in and get a cigar at a reasonable price in Miami. Very helpful staff.

Must take this down a notch. Purchased a 3-cigar sampler to take home. Struggling to keep the cigars lit! Very disappointing. Lesson...pick your cigars from the individual-rolled selection in the display case. Should be better. read more

8.22.22 This is such a a cool place. I was here a few times but I only had espresso and double espresso the times I was here. The woman who served me was so hospitable. So nice. So friendly. They have someone hand rolling cigars that they obviously sell and they also have many other brands of cigars for those of you who like cigars. These people who roll the cigars really are artists. It's a true craft. So awesome to watch them roll a cigar from start to finish. They also sell a bunch of different sizes of humidors which look pretty cool. read more

Hand rolled cigars in the heart of Miami's historic Calle Ocho. Prices are reasonable for this super touristy neighborhood but in my opinion there's a few things are must trys in Little Havana - Cuban coffee, Cuban sandwich and Cuban cigar. I tried the sampler and my personal favorites were the double torpedo and torpedo. Nice smoke and great flavor. read more

The Cuban coffee was great! The environment overall felt as we were in Cuba. Friendly staff who did not judge us for not speaking Spanish. The only downside was that the cigar smoke was overwhelming and made it hard to breathe. read more

During our tour of Little Havana we had the opportunity to checkout this famous cigar bar. We could smell the the tobacco when we walked in the door. The cigar craftsmen were wrapping the tobacco into the cigar leaf. They were kind enough to to stop and take pictures and give us a inside look into the cigar process and a quick history lesson. They explained the difference between a cigar and cigarettes wrapping paper. Cigars contain a higher level of nicotine. Most people smoke but don't inhale. Tourists and locals come in to purchase these handmade cigars. They are not imported but made solely in-house. They also serve beverages and have a lounge area for sitting and enjoying the laid back atmosphere. My friend purchased a few mild cigars for her dad and we completed the tour. Such a cool place to visit. read more

No trip to Miami would be complete with out a stop in Little Havana, and while you're there you've got check out Havana Classic Cigars. Take your pick of the most premium Cuban seed tobacco from Santo Domingo in a Habano, Medium or Maduro wrapper, hand rolled for you by a Cuban Master Roller right in the shop. You can have it cut to enjoy immediately at their cigar bar with a steaming Cafe Cubano or save it for later. The girl that helped us pick out a gift for someone back home made great suggestions, I got this cute little Cedar cigarbox made just big enough for two cigars to fit in it, one that was a little darker flavor and one a little lighter flavor. Highly recommend this cigar shop. Was definitely the most interesting one we went into on Calle Ocho. read more

The house rolled Maduro Toto was a rich bold treat. I paired it with a cafe con leche and the two went together like cookies and milk. i met Roberto the master roller. He's a jovial musical sort. For a modest gratuity i got one of those cheesy touristy photos with the big fella, but it was an awesome photo! server was knowledgeable and accommodating. place was spacious and comfortable there's plenty of cigar joints on Calle Ocho, but this place is mine! read more

Environment: 4.5 Out of 5 We came with our food and history tour group and we enjoyed our time here. Great experience watching the folks continue a Cuban tradition. Folks have been hand rolling for DECADES! I wish I asked for a personal tour of their humidifier. There's always a next time!! Service: 5 out of 5 My partner and I came back on our own and the lady at the counter remembered us from the tour. We discussed that we were novices to cigar culture, but she was delighted to walk me through to the different types and the best fit for me. I was clear that I prefer dark liquor with hints of cacao and caramel, not cheap ethanol smelling (rubbing alcohol) giving you a hangover where you may have made poor decisions. Pour me that aged rum, aged tequila, and your finest mezcal! My bad, I digressed. I requested for cigars that paired well for my 7 años Havana Club (HC), did me one better. Not only did she describe the flavors for 7 year HC, but her personal recommendation was to pair the mild and medium cigars with a 12 year Flor de Cana rum. That 12 year is also delicious. Overall: 4.75 Out of 5 Slow down, build a relationship with the folks in service to your needs and they will provide! -------- I cannot stress enough to be responsible adults and travelers! My partner and I work in healthcare and COVID is real. If not for yourself, think about the children and older adults around you. Mask up, get your COVID vaccine(s), and or both! NEVER GIVING YOU A PENNY My plan was to spend time in this shop and possibly purchase a few BOXES of cigars to take back home. We waited a bit to pick up a rental car then I set my maps to this shop. Once I get there I walk to the back and find the restrooms have a keypad. I politely ask the girl at the coffee shop for the code & another woman from behind me starts to explain the bathroom policy. You MUST purchase something to generate a code for the restroom. I explained to her that I was there to take my time and select a few boxes but really felt a uncomfortable as I needed to use the restroom first. I assured her I would be buying their products. She again now very firmly & rude states it's a rule and she only works there. So there isn't an overriding code you can use? This would have been a singled out incident and make a customer very happy. This sole interaction with this one lady immediately made me make a decision to tell her I will be not buying anything and plan to tell everyone of how they treat customers. I walked out and just a few shops down another cigar shop welcomed me in and allowed me to use the restroom right away BEFORE I bought anything. So my last bit of advice is DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY on a shop that cares ZERO about customers. THE VERY BEST CIGAR SHOP IS A FEW BLOCKS DOWN don't be lazy and yoU won't be disappointed. Jessie and Brenda are SO so so welcoming. I don't even smoke cigars and I had a blast here. My husband and I came to Havana Classic on a Friday (2/17/23) and while we were there it was rather calm. My husband enjoyed a cigar, and I enjoyed the best Cuban coffee. Jessie mentioned that there would be a black smoke event the next day and that we should come back. We took her word and returned on Saturday 2/18 and were not disappointed. The place was full of patrons and we enjoyed mojitos, more coffee, a cigar, and met the owner, Brenda and her husband Don Julio . Truly a great experience. The workers here are truly great. They will not hound you, and they will always say hello and goodbye whether you purchase something or not! read more

As we strolled down 8th Street, it was adventitious that we walked in and watched men rolling cigars with precision. We also caught a tour group as the guide was explaining what was taking place during the cigar making. While in Little Havana, my girlfriend took me to Havana Classic Cigar. It was recently featured on "Married to Medicine" where they hand roll their cigars. Ivan, the tour guide, was awesome. He explained briefly the history of the tobacco, how the planes are grown, and the process of developing the perfect cigar. We watched a video for 10 minutes giving further explanation of the process. After the video, we smelt the different leaves that have a purpose in the cigar, saw the ventilator for cigars, and tasted a popular pastry. Lastly, we saw the hand rollers in the front of the store. We learned a master roller needs to have 10 years of experience and one employee has been rolling for 30 years! It was an awesome experience and enlighten me on cigar history! If you in Little Havana, it's a must to stop here! We bought some additional cigars! read more

It's free to go in so definitely check it out if you're in the Little Havana area. The smell is a little strong but that's part of the experience in my opinion :) read more

Awesome place for some great hand rolled cigars by one of the best Cuban rollers in the business. The Havana Real is my favorite. Stopped by on Saturday 11/29/14. This is a very small shop that has been in Miami for years and years. The ownership changed hands recently as the previous owner wanted to retire. Lazaro, who is the new owner, was extremely nice and helpful. I met His wife as well who speaks perfect English and was very kind. They have 3 rollers and they do everything by hand. The Tobacco is from Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Guatemala. Everyone is from Cuba. This is the kind of place the old timers stop by, roll a few, sit and chat. A real wealth of information with these guys. While it is not on SW 8th where a lot of the other shops are, it is only a few blocks away right on Flagler at the corner of SW 17th Ave. All the cigars here are "heche un mano". If you want to visit a small family operation and get some nice sticks, this is the place to visit. read more
