They are very thorough with their guidelines but it's only to protect your dogs from choking on small things such as toys or treats. My GSD was known to have behaviors such as fear aggression and separation anxiety but their staff made him feel very welcome. I brought him in muzzled the first time to meet the place as I feared he would bit the staff, however, they requested I didn't muzzle him on his first time staying. To my surprise, not only did he not bite any of the staff, but he would also let himself be pet by all the care takers and play with them. I'm truly thankful for these guys.

The lady gave excuses like she needed to go to the bathroom but when I arrived nobody was monitoring her and she was freezing! If you think this was your dog I would be happy to confirm. As my dog grows older and more fragile, she shows such compassion - making me so grateful to have her in our lives. She has always gone well above and beyond, making sure to send adorable pictures of 'my boys' when I travel, and update her notebook with details from each visit. When she needs to take some time off (very rare, and always with a lot of notice), she coordinates substitute pet minders as needed. Her experience working for a vet just adds to my comfort in leaving my pets in her care. When my pets need pills or special care, she works with me to make sure all is administered if I'm not available. Ellensburg Pet Lodge fills the bill as he can't wait to "check in" and when we pick him up he is happy to see us. When he gets home he collapses so we know he has a busy day not just stuck in a cage.
