I for sure miss the original location in the casket company, there was just something about the building that felt more "evil", and it made you feel additionally uneasy going in (the old location is supposed to be actually haunted). Evil Intentions in its new home is still an excellent haunt. I believe we were in the haunt for about 30-40 minutes when it was our turn. The haunt begins outside in a corn maze, which was actually really cool and creepy- you feel like someone is watching you in every part of it. After you find your way out of the corn maze, you enter the indoor part of the haunted house. Great effects/performers and design inside. I would recommend a visit to Evil Intentions and keeping an eye on their multi-year project in the location "Forsaken Hollow", it sounds really fun - a Halloween themed bar, coffee shop, a diagon alley type town square (for those of you that have been to Universal Studios) and more.

We bought VIP tickets (typical price for VIP at most locations) to skip the line. The line went quick too. I really liked how they broke up the line with the maze. However, the maze was lacking--it seemed like they were either missing scare actors or they simply did not have enough. The haunted house itself was really well put together aesthetically and the makeup/costumes of the actors were great. Once again though, it seemed like there were more mannequins than actors. This haunted house is more creepy vs scary. A lot of the girl actors stayed in my face for far too long , to the point I had to stop walking and my husband stayed behind with me as my group moved along. There is only so many seconds being in someone's face and in their way is acceptable. It became more annoyance than scary. Overall, if I hadn't been in the area I wouldn't make the trip this year, but I think this place has huge potential for following seasons.

The promoter had given us free tix to check out his domain and I heard regular price is $5 which, honestly, I think is too low for what they've done. I've paid $25 for mediocre hauntings and it's a lot of hard work and imagination to get those things up and running. Inside, they have pretty current props, special effects, scenes that are chilling. When I first entered, I actually felt as if I was in a horror film. Only one other haunted house made me feel like this. I think if you feel as if its real, you've done your job. The props were creepy and the sounds snd movements were scary. Spoiler: You have to crawl at one point, so don't wear something impractical lol! There wasn't much "jump" actors, but I can do without. This is a residential neighborhood, so keep your volume low and don't park in front of people's driveways or turn around in them. You'll need to tune your radio to the station to hear the music just like if you were at a drive through movie. It's corny and cheesy but it's a nice effort by a group of neighbors who are trying to bring some cheer and contribute to a good cause; this year is going to a local food pantry. They ask folks to bring non-perishable items and/or make a donation via Venmo or Cashapp. The synchronized show runs for about 20 minutes or so.

He is very judgemental when it comes to haunted houses and I was surprised to hear no criticism out of him. This was my second year attending. We went on a Sunday and only waited 20 minutes to get in. It was raining but they kept tents above everyone waiting in line. The rain didn't stop the party from happening. Actors still ran around frightening guest. The DJ was pumping jams the entire time. They sell food, drinks and merchandise too but be prepared to spend quite a bit. The haunted house was full of detail and each room had something special to scare you to the fullest. We were in there for a while. Sorry, I couldn't keep track. I was terrified lol. Definitely got our 45 dollars worth. Then after almost loosing my voice and feeling relieved that it was over, we were guided to the second haunted house. Try to avoid Saturdays in October. One of the attendings working the line said there was a 4 hour wait. I remember that too because I went on a Saturday last year. And avoid coming here drunk on your ass. They won't tolerate drunk or high people who are causing scenes. I saw them kick out lots of people in line who were making a ruckus. I gave this place 5 stars because it deserves it. Their haunt is one of the best. Try to avoid Saturdays unless you don't mind the long wait. Although waiting in line is definitely half of the experience. Dress warm and wear comfy shoes. Bring extra spending money for food, drinks, and souvenirs. Avoid bringing kids under 12 unless they love scary things. Don't pay for parking at the casino, there's free parking a block away. Definitely the best haunted house in Illinois!

I told him my hair is naturally curly and he said "you're a natural liar". To me that was not entertaining, it just felt hostile and hurtful, not funny. It turned me off from this experience big time. Almost every actor inside the haunted house was screaming and it got very repetitive. I was hoping to see some more interesting or clever acts, not just screaming in my face over and over.
